With the release of the new Time-Tables for trains, the following new features may help.
1. A copy of the old TimeTable (prior to July 1, 2012) is maintained, and accessible thru the "Show old TimeTable" link at the top of the respective trains' timetables.
2. If a train's TimeTable has changed, each Station where the timings have altered will show both the previous and the new Arrival/Departure times for quick comparison as to how much the train has been speeded up/slowed down. (see pic). In short, TimeTable changes are now highlighted.
3. Admins may now "ReNumber" trains, when a train's number has changed. Just click on the "edit" link next to the name and put in the new number. Both the old...

and new numbers will be shown at the top of the respective train's page. Moreover, the train will continue to link to past Blog Entries, PNRs, Trips, etc. Please do not create a new train with the new number, if an existing train is re-numbered. Use the edit link instead.
Please note that if an active train already exists for the new number, then the re-numbering will fail.
