This train is not even worthy of its name. I traveled from NZM to MAS on 4th july, 2012. First of all, its been long time since I saw train coaches literally decapitated. It didnt even have proper charging points, just some old 2-pin points which were useless for most of the people having 3 pin chargers.
And the food was simply horrible, with rotten salad and curd. There was even a minor tussle between one of the passenger and the catering incharge. The salad was rotten and curd was smelly....
more... Rest of the food was equally dismal if not rotten.
Attendant's attitude was like if he was doing us a favor for giving us the rotten food. And to top it all, in the end, he made rounds collecting tips like he was collecting hafta. I carry very litle cash and only had 20/- change, but he kept asking for more with a dhamki like attitude.
All in all, it was a horrible journey. I traveled from NZM-SC duranto 4 weeks back and it was pretty good. I hope NZM-MAS duranto would be good but this was simply horrible.
I would suppose TN express and duranto would be better for this route.

Bro, I'm telling you, the coaches were so messed up, they were literally falling apart! And the charging points were all old school 2-pin ones that no one could even use with their 3-pin chargers.
And let's not even talk about the food, man. It was straight up nasty! The salad was rotten and the curd was stanky. The catering guy even got into a little scuffle with one of the other passengers. The rest of the food was just plain bad, if not also rotten.
And to top it off, the attendant was acting like he was doing us a favor by serving us the gross food. And then at the end, he came around asking for tips like he was collecting protection money or something! I only had 20 bucks on me and he kept hassling me for more like he was gonna beat me up or something.
Overall, it was a terrible trip. I took the NZM-SC Duranto 4 weeks prior and that train was pretty decent. I'm hoping the NZM-MAS Duranto is better, cuz this one was straight up horrible...
