7200_Bullett_India
The bullett-nosed WP locomotives were the mainstay of broad gauge passenger services on the Indian Railways for a long time until 1995, when they retired. This loco, no WP7200 was one of the 16 prototypes built by Baldwin, USA before regular production started at the Chittaranjan loco Works in India. The locomotive is seen here at the National Railway Museum in Delhi in February 1999. It has since moved to another location fo restoration and operation on main line railtours.
