In this condition railway deduct 25% of base fare. Hence you may get less amount. When did you cancel if today and today being Date of journey you are entitled to get 25% deducted from ticket fare... Cancelled within 24 hrs of scheduled departure hence cancellation charges shall be 25% of the fare Cancelled on 16th. U must have cancelled between 24 hrs to 4 hrs time frame of the Journey/original Charting Station which looks to Delhi. Hence you are deducted 25% according to the extant rule. Cancellation rates isn't dependant on Charting Station => Meaning The time frame-Cancellation Rate Combo would be dependant on the Boarding Station and not the Charting Station. 361 - 10 - 25% (361-10) So 361 - 10 - 88 = 263. Rs. 10 is IRCTC Charge. 25% is deducted since you have cancelled within 24 hrs. of departure. Hope, it is OK. Thanks for the Info sir...
