Sir, i m not an agent & never had been & have told what i have seen!!!
Yes i do booking, but for me, my family & few times for my relatives/frds (as i have a bit knowledge of IR), but that counts once in a month, on an average)

PS: Some months back, irctc drived blocking personal id, involed in bulk booking (and without any surprise, those were owned by agents only) but Agents remained unaffected, as again they created new id in the night, to work on it in morning & copy paste the booked ticket!!
Agents blaming irctc shouldnt forget that the business they have got to do, is only because of the irctc web-policies!!!
The complaint has been made by public only, not any other fellow & surpassing this reality is to contradict general feeling.
Every person knows, how much Agents charge & thats compelling & is the basis of PRS Counter charging extra, as long time back, no charging by PRS was eveident (they think, y they cant, when agents are making wonders out of it & most times, agents' brocker or unauthorised agent offer them deals too & hence opening option for them, on cost of general public!!!)

I appreciate your clear views on the matter. But the point is that blame is given only on IRCTC Auth Agents not on unauthorized agents at counters. While the main problem is due to them. People are standing in que for the whole night still they are not able to book even wait listed tatkal tickets.
Consider the situation that we (AAM ADMI) are having two different booking forms & standing in Q for booking. After accepting first form the booking clerk refuses to accept second form and ask you...

to come again in Q while on the same time they are accepting multiple forms from the unauthorized people either from the Q or from the back door entry.
So problem is every where but I ask your personal views that is the step to ban agents to book tickets for one hour is right or not?

As far as Aam Aadmi is concerned, Agent/PRS Counter/Unauthorised Broker, everyone is screwing them!!
And believe me, no change is going to happen!!!
1. Agent booking tatkal thru personal id
2. Unauthorised Broker & Agent's men @ PRS Counter
3. PRS Counter Clerk still charging extra for booking
4. Aam aadmi getting screwed!!!
Its prevailing now & will go-on---Thats y i said, y to make hue-n-cry??????
