Kindly exclude Rajdhani from this.The concept of "rajdhani express" is to connect State capital to national capital in quickest possible way with very good facilities on offer, there's absolutely no rajdhani that will take a longer route.

Moreover, the 120 Kms which it travels, 109 Kms is Mumbai only, till DRD is Mumbai Suburban, only that mere 11 km and lone station Gholvad is Maharashtra through which it travels.

Agreed ! Maharstra is the most deprivied as far as concept of sampark kranti goes. Only people of mumbai and suburbs benifit from it :( well this could be speeded up between BDTS-BRS-NZM and may be extended up till KOP

Another Joke from SWR is the namesake RajyaRani. SWR should have connected MAQ/KAWR/RC/GR to SBC instead of putting another train between MYS and SBC as Rajyarani. Probably, this is the shortest running Rajyarani

To introduce a train naming is not a constraint. If they introduce a new train from either MAQ/KAWR/RC/GR without any name still people prefer it. Hence the concept of Rajyarani wont be an issue
