This is definitely one of the most prestigious trains of Indian railways. I have read somewhere that there are people who use this train from pune daily to work in their offices located at mumbai. I am sure this would be perhaps the longest commute to an office in any part of India. And the same people come back by the return train. Considering that it reaches mumbai at 10:-10:15 and leaves t 5.30, i am surprised which offices would these people be working in??....Even govt offices have an early start nowadays i presume and work goes on till at least 6!!! Wanted to know from members whether this train carries daily passengers from pune to Mumbai? If tht be so it is really amazing and hats off to those passengers who take this daily commute for so many years now

Indeed its daily train for the peoples who work in mumbai nearby to CST station.
However everybody knows in the offices that a particular member is doing daily up-down from Pune-Mumbai-Pune so no one raise any question for early out from office.
