in home , we cannot tell occupancy with 100% accuracy

if this train is getting patonage , it will continue to run , and opinion of 1 or 2 iri member doesnot matter.

and if its not getting patronage, ir will add more halts or do extension , again its IR decision on which iri member/admin have no control.

After visiting this place last year(/blog/post/785691),I was determined to visit again and I did just that this year..But what I saw at the station was disheartening..Development has taken its toll on the sheer beauty of the station.. Conventional light signals stands proudly where Semaphores ruled for decades..old manual track switching cabins were demolished..old station building bears a deserted look..platform 1 was empty as all the pass trains now arrive on pf 2..but whatever remained had a charm to it..The only thing that hasn't changed one bit is the route to shoranur.

trees still dominate the route and the greenery still remains..The route is still dominated by ERS alcos.For a railfan the best seat in the house is the first/second coach..one can hear the Alco chug its heart out along with frequent eruptions when they negotiate some monster gradients enroute.
