You can contact Ticket issuing station with booking date time detail and a written request letter to Lock PNR and issue a duplicate ticket. If you are not in same city then contact nearest PRS's CRS and provide details and request for duplicate ticket. You may asked to file a FIR at GRP/Local PS too. No refund is permissible against lost/misplaced tickets. However passenger will be allowed to travel on the reservation already made on confirmed one or RAC .If the loss of confirmed/RAC ticket is reported before the preparation of the reservation chart, duplicate ticket will be issued on the collection of the clerkage charge per passenger. If the loss of confirmed/RAC ticket is reported after the preparation of the reservation chart, duplicate ticket will be issued on the collection of the 50% of the fare . Earlier this train had no stop at ALJN was granted with very less quota few year back due to known to all reasons. As this train has very good patronage from NDLS to DBG probably IR derided to remove this halt on this basis. I personally booked 2 berths in 12561, Swatantrata Sainani Express(S.S.Exp) from Samastipur(SPJ) to Aligarh(ALJN) in Sleeper(SL) class of 21/02/2011 on around mid Nov,2011 under PNR No......(not remember). But after several discussion there will be no halt of 12561/12562, S.S.Exp at ALJN from 01/01/2012. then kindly, explain about this above mentioned journey, how will we complete this journey . There are certain stoppages, which are provided for trains approaching the destination ,but not when train originates. It is done due to operational reasons. For south bound trains originating from New Delhi, there is no stoppage at Nizamudin but same trains stop at NZM when approaching NDLS. If I want to book 02(TWO) berth in 1AC in any train, and the berths are available. And I want TWO SEATER CABIN, "HOW I WILL GET BERTH IN 1AC ACCORDING TO MY CHOICE IN THIS CONDITION". Being the highest class, it is VIP prone and they are given the maximum comfort. After the VIP absorption, it comes to the general passengers and if available, a coupe of 2 may be given to a PNR of 2. Yet, suppose, on a day in a train, after VIO allotment, remaining there are a coupe of 2 and a coupe of 4 for 6 un-allotted (so far) passengers who have 3 PNRs of 2 each. The charting clerk can now give a coupe of 2 to only one PNR and rest 2 PNRs (of 2 each) will have to be accommodated in the coupe of 4. ... Read more... If the passenger passenger gives verbal or written request (on the same reservation form) for allotment of Coupe than the booking clerk selects 'CP' option in PRS system to consider this request as first preference. In case of any VIP/HO movement their PNR gets priority over any CP request made by any GN quota passenger.
