Reg: Requesting service demands from Thiruvarur Junction
Dear sir,
On behalf of more than hundreds of daily commuters, I would like to bring to your kind attention for demanding services from Thiruvarur Railway station.
1. Daily more than 100 commuters to go Trichy for various reasons like catch the flight to go abroad and various region in India, College students and staff, and medical reasons. We dont have any early morning train services from Thiruvarur railway station. We are struggling to go Trichy at early morning Time. So kindly operate one train from Velankanni or Thiruvarur to Thiruchirapalli.
2. Lot of people travelling from Chennai to Thiruvarur / Nagapattinam Karaikal/Velankanni/ Kilvelur in day time. We dont have any day service from Velankanni or Karaikal or Thiruvarur. So Kindly operate one day service from Velankkani to Chennai Egmore or Tambaram.
3. Lot of people coming to Thiruvarur from Egmore by Thiruchendur Express which is arriving Mayiladudurai at 9.00 pm. So we dont have any train service to reach Thiruvarur at that time. So kindly extend the train no - 56877 from Mayiladudurai to Thiruvarur and Operate the train at early morning from Thiruvarur. So we can able to reach Villupuram in day time.
4. After 4.30 PM Trichy we dont have any more facility to reach Thiruvarur. We have to wait till morning. So its very difficult for college students and staff, medical patient. So kindly extend the train no -76828 from Thanjavur to Thiruvarur
5. Kindly add the stoppage at Kilvelur station for the train no Karaikal to Bangalore Fast passenger. Lots of villages surrounding Kilvelur and its very difficult to catch the train at early morning. They need to either Thiruvarur or Nagapattinam to board the train. People are going to Pondy for hospital, Chidambaram for university and Salem, Neyveli. So kindly add the stoppageat Kilvelur (KVL) station for the train no 56514.
6. Kindly open Reservation counter at Kilvelur station since lots of people struggled to Thiruvarur or Nagapattinam for reservation. More than 20 villages surrounding Kilvelur station and people suffering lot. So kindly open reservation counter.
7. Kindly open the traffic from Thiruvarur to Thiruthuraipoondi, pattukottai and Karaikudi section.
8. Kindly operate one Over Night Express from Velankanni to Thiruvananthapuram via Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Thiruchirapalli, Dindugul, Madurai, Thirunelveli and Nagercoil. Because lots of people travelling to Velankanni, Nagappattinam, Thirunallaru and Thiruvarur from Kanniyakumari Dist. Also lot of people visiting to Kanniyakumari,Thirunelveli and Madurai from Delta districts. We dont have any connectivity with southern districts. So kindly operate over night express from Velankanni to Trivandrum.
9. Kindly reconstruct the Nagapattinam railway station since dont have any basis infrastructure at Nagapattinam Station and its pilgrimage. So please reconstruct the station at Nagapattinam.
10. Kindly add stoppages at Velipaalayam and Kilvelur stations for the Train no Karaikal to Chennai Egmore express 16176/16186.
11. Kindly run one weekly train service from Velankanni to New Delhi.
We are expecting these service demands gets fulfilled as soon as possible. Please do some helpful sir.

Chendur - MV pass is going for maintenance to MV and running as passenger. That also very much needed. Because using the Cholan upto MV and This passenger to TVR. also we can go TVR to MV at morning using this passenger and MV to Chennai we can catch he cholan.
VLNK - SC is good option. Its noted.
Morning passenger from VM to MV, they are using as MV to TJ using this rack. That also good option to extend it. We will add that too in our future demands. Will...
