I travelled by this train last year. I always take this train to Chennai as this is the fastest and a high priority train in the Mumbai-Chennai Sector.
The train departed Dadar at dot 20.30. The train hauled by KYN WCAM2-p crawled through the yard of Dadar stn. The train then stopped at Matunga Outer and within minutes Nagercoil-Mumbai Exp hauled by ED WDM3D crossed our train. Our train then maintained a steady speed through the bustling Mumbai suburbs overtaking EMUs and then proceeded toward kalyan We stopped at Kalyan outer to give way to a frieght train hauled by twin KYN WDG3a. It was Bed time and the attendent distributed the bed rolls . The bed rolls were clean and also were perfumed. The train then reached PUNE Jn were our train underwent a Loco Change from WCAM2-p to WDG3a . The train reached WADI at dot 7.00 am and it was breakfast time . The menu was again same

The Wdg3a hauled train started accerlating and was maintaining a speed of 80 kmph. We reached Mantralayam Rd at 9.00 am . I came to know that the water filling was changed from Mantralayam Rd to Krishna. We had a halt at Krishna for water filling . The reached Adoni 10 mins late and we crossed Mumbai Bound Chennai-Mumbai Mail hauled by GY WDM3A. After a brief halt the train proceeded towards GTL(Guntakal Jn). At guntakal our train crossed CAPE-Mumbai CST Jayanti Janta Exp hauled by GY WDM3D. The lunch menu was again the same Roti and Chole and Dal rice. The train reached RU(Renigunta) at 4.30pm for a 25min halt and a loco change. We met YPR bound HWH-YPR AC Duronto Exp hauled by RPM WAP4. By now our train was ready to Depart RU with a good looking RPM WAP4. We stormed till Perumbur maintaing a speed of 110kmph. The train then crawled through the suburbs of Chennai and reached MS(Chennai Egmore) at 19.55.
The train was clean and well maintained and arrived on time at almost all stations. The ICF were very good and best part was there was no shaking at all even though the train clocked 110kmph.
