I booked a ticket for both my parents ( senior citizens ) along with 2 adults from hyd to Chennai this Sunday and the ticket is now in RAC. Point to be noted here is there are still 35 seats available under senior citizen quota. Wondering if this ticket gets confirmed while chart preparation or should I book a fresh ticket for my parents under senior citizen quota? Please help me with your advise.

Anyone from Railways who know the ticket charting logic ? If senior citizen quota is still available will these quota gets cleared for senior citizen passengers in general RAC quota ? If yes then my worry is minimal. The current RAC berth status of the booked ticket is RAC 39 to 42.

Today NDLS bound SR king is hauled by ED WAP 4 - 22696. Started with a decent slow crawl from PF 3 and now he is getting wild touching max 120 kmph.

Really awesome on IR services. Found an elderly women struggling to fix the uprooted curtain from berth 11. Informed enroute staff and the person gave no confidence to fix. On behalf of them I tweeted and the same is fixed. Awesome experience. Feeling good.
