Aarav Ranjan 32 blog postsI don't know if any one has noticed it...but there is a shortage of WAP 5 locos in ECR. I haven't seen one on this route. It is the best loco after WAP 7 and WAG 9. But Although ECR has many WAP 7 and WAP4 at their disposal, No WAP5..I would like to see one...great acceleration..probably the best.

Sorry bro...but ur info is not correct. WAP 4 is able of hauling 26 coaches upto 140kmph. So obviously WAP5 is better than WAP4 in terms of both power and acceleration. So There can't be any loco better than WAP5 for hauling this train in terms of Acceleration

Maybe except WAP7....i don't which has better acceleration...although I know that WAP7 is more powerful than WAP5

WAP5 will fail with 23 coaches r u kidding me??...So let me get this straight u mean WAP4 usually hauls PNBE to BNC trains right?...So WAP4 Can do it But WAP5 will fail? Plus if u have forgotten the fact that its LHB rake which is lighter than ICF so it can actually handle a few more coaches than 25-26 Coaches...And Ghats?..As long as its broad gauge track WAP5 can handle it.

Just because Any Long Distance train isn't hauled by WAP5 in that region doesn't mean it can't be hauled. I am getting bored of this debate.. u believe what u wish...I will believe what I like

Bokaro To Tatanagar via Ranchi...very steep and Even a WAM4 with 21 coaches of Patliputra Exp doesn't require a banker. So stop degrading The WAP class which are far better than WAM's. Just so u know Ranchi is a small hill station and route is almost like climbing.
I have travelled in a lot more trains than u have and on a lot more routes...and I have never seen any train with a WAP loco requiring a banker...unless some problem with the loco...not even WAP1

Har koi pehle ac hi prefer karega....agar so din sleeper Mei dopahar bitaayega toh kya khaak exam dega..itni garmi parti hai may Mein...apna 100% nahi de paayega student agar aaram se nahi gya toh....haan but sab student nahi jaa paayenge ac Mein kuchh ko seat nahi milega aur kuchh ko mehnga parega...main bhi jaa raha hoon 7th ko Isi train Mein...mera ticket confirm hai....and for ur info saare k saare 9 Ac coach full Ho gye aur 3AC Mein waiting 35 k paar pahuchh gyi hai...I am in B6
AC Mein student concession nhi milta hai...sirf SL Mein milega
