DO I NEED TO CHECK ANOTHER TRAIN.
I have booked 12282/New Delhi - Bhubaneswar Duronto Express from MGS to BBS.
Then i have 11020/BBS-CST Konark express from BBS to Tuni.
I have seen that 12282 is late on most days. Will i be able to catch 11020? or do i need to try some other train.

* A large number of lower berths are getting cornered by Sr. citizens, causing inconvenience to other paxs. (many 40+ travellers esp obese ones long for lower berth).

*If IR considers all the ac classes as luxury and try to earn from them while giving heavy subsidy to all non ac classes, then the concession of all kinds should be withdrawn from all the ac classes. Giving subsidised travel in luxury classes is injustice to full fare paying poor people.
*Earlier very less number of trains had ACI coaches, but during last 2 decades a large number of trains have provided with ACI coaches which carry a very less number of paxs and giving losses to IR as well. It would be very interesting to know what percentage of passengers travelling in AC! are full fare paying, concessional fare paying and no fare paying ones.

The Railway Ministry may discuss and look into the issue of bifurcation of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone and creating a separate zone which will have jurisdiction solely over the seven North Eastern states while the existing areas of NFR located in West Bengal and Bihar could be turned into a different zonal railway.

Bifurcation of Maligaon-headquartered NFR with a separate zonal railway responsible solely for the seven North Eastern states has been a long-standing demand of the people of Assam and other states of the region as well as various organisations, including the Assam Rail Passengers’ Association (APRA).
People and organisations of the Northeast have frequently alleged that most of the benefits, projects as well as railway vacancies are cornered by the NFR divisions falling in Bihar and West Bengal, while the seven states of the region remain deprived.
Earlier, Prabhu participated in a centralised event to mark the commencement of railway electrification work between Raninagar Jalpaiguri and Guwahati. The event also witnessed the commissioning of a 700-Kwp solar power plant at Guwahati Railway Station, inauguration of first class and second class waiting halls at Harmuti station, and inauguration of the RO Plant and Digital Chart Display System at the New Tinsukia station.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, a Mini Ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has been entrusted with the task of execution of the electrification project at a total cost of Rs 655.55 crore. Under it, the 382-km route will be electrified.Prabhu said the Railway Ministry will also consider introduction of a special train that will cover all the major holy places visited by Mahapurush Srimanta Sankaradeva during his years of wandering across the country.
Prabhu’s comments in this regard came after Governor Banwarilal Purohit, during his speech at the function, urged the Railway Minister to introduce such a train which will cover all the major religious spots visited by Srimanta Sankaradeva.
Prabhu said the Northeast is the major area of focus for the Indian Railways. He said the Centre has invested Rs 19,000 crore in the railway sector in the region during last three years and a capital expenditure target of Rs 8,000 crore has been fixed for the region during the current 2017-18 fiscal.
The minister said that projects worth Rs 13,000 crore have been sanctioned for the region in 2017-18. The gauge conversion work in the Northeast has been completed, he said, adding, a special train will be started to promote tourism in the region.
Prabhu said his ministry is also working for promotion of the handicraft industry of the region as well as for self-help groups and medium, small and micro industries of the Northeast.
He said special focus has been given to generate employment in the Northeast and as part of the new catering policy of the Indian Railways, stalls and establishments at stations will be allowed to be opened only by those who have domicile certificates.
Prabhu said such steps can go a long way in addressing the employment issue among local youths of the region.

Mr. Reddy said that the new railway zone for Andhra Pradesh was promised in the A.P. Reorganisation Act prior to bifurcation of the State. It was one of the main assurances that should have been granted within six months of bifurcation. “But no decision has been announced nearly three years after formation of the new government,” he said. Mr. Reddy said that the Chief Minister seemed to be content with making statements that a new railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquarters would become a reality. He was not exerting any pressure on the Centre for fulfilment of the assurance. He sought an early announcement on the zone as the future of the backward North Andhra region was dependent on it.
Mr. Amarnadh said that both the TDP and BJP cheated the people of North Andhra by promising the new railway zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam before the elections and ignoring it later.
It became an election plank for the BJP-TDP during the recent election to the Graduates’ Constituency from North Andhra. He appealed to all political parties to extend their support to the ‘Atma Gaurava Yatra’.
Mr. Amarnadh met leaders of the CPI and the CPI(M) and sought their support. Leaders of the Left parties agreed to attend the ‘padayatra’.
Morning walkers, senior citizens, and the general public were explained the importance of the railway zone.

Accordingly, Train No. 06579 Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal special train will depart Yesvantpur at 18:35 hrs on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th April, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th May, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June, 2017 (Friday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 14:35 hrs on the next day.

విజయవాడ ఔటర్‌లో రైల్వే ప్రయాణికుల కష్టాలకు తెరదించేందుకు... గంటల తరబడి నగరం వెలుపల రైళ్లు ఆగకుండా ఉండేందుకు పరిష్కారమార్గంగా ఇంటల్‌ లాకింగ్‌ వ్యవస్థను కొనియాడారు. కోట్ల రూపాయలు వెచ్చించి దీన్ని పూర్తి చేశారు. కానీ నేరుగా ప్లాట్‌ఫారంపైకి రైలు వస్తుందన్న అధికారుల హామీ నెరవేరట్లేదు. ఆధునికీకరణ జరిగినా సమస్య సమసిపోలేదు. సకాలంలోనే రైలు విజయవాడ వరకు వచ్చినా స్టేషన్‌లోకి రాలేక పోవడంతో ప్రయాణికుల అవస్థలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. స్టేషన్‌కు చేరుకునే రైళ్లకు ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలు కేటాయించడంలో తీవ్ర జాప్యం జరుగుతోంది. బెజవాడ స్టేషన్‌ను విస్తరించడమా.. లేక ఇంటర్‌ లాకింగ్‌ సిస్టం మరింత మెరుగుపర్చడమో చేయాల్సిన అవసరం కనిపిస్తోంది.
ఎందుకిలా..?: ఇంటర్‌లాకింగ్‌ వ్యవస్థను ఆధునికీకరించినా ప్లాట్‌ఫారాల కేటాయింపులో మాత్రం పూర్వ స్థితి కొనసాగుతోంది. అంతేకాకుండా సరకు రవాణా రైళ్లు పంపించేందుకు మరిన్ని సమస్యలు ఎదురైనట్లు కింది స్థాయి సిబ్బంది చెబుతున్నారు. బెజవాడ స్టేషన్‌లో మొత్తం 10 ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలు ఉన్నాయి. వీటిలో మూడు ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలు మినహా మిగిలిన వాటిపై 24 బోగీలు నిలిపే స్థలం లేదు. సాధారణంగా రోజూ తిరిగే రైలు ఒకే ప్లాట్‌ఫారం మీదకు రావాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ప్రయాణికులు దీనికే అలవాటు పడతారు. కానీ బెజవాడలో ప్లాట్‌ఫారం

కేటాయించేదాకా ఏరైలు ఎక్కడికి వస్తుందో తెలియదని ప్రయాణికులు వాపోతున్నారు.
ప్రతి ప్రయాణికుల రైలుకు ప్లాట్‌ఫారం నామినేషన్‌ ఉంటుంది. ఉదాహరణకు నర్సాపూర్‌ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ ఒకటో నంబరు ప్లాట్‌ఫారం మీదకు రావాల్సి ఉంది. దీన్ని మార్చకూడదనేది నిబంధన. కానీ ఛీప్‌ కంట్రోలర్‌ సలహా మేరకు ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలు గజిబిజిగా ఇస్తున్నారు. ఉదాహరణకు గోదావరి ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ 7వ నంబరు ప్లాట్‌ఫారం మీదకు రావాల్సి ఉంటుంది. రైలు జాప్యం అయితే దీన్ని మార్చుతున్నారు. ఆ ప్లాట్‌ఫారం కేటాయించే పరిస్థితి లేకుండా పోతోంది. ఆఖరి నిమిషంలో ప్రయాణికులు పరుగులు పెట్టిన సందర్భాలున్నాయి.
కొన్ని రైళ్ల ఇంజిన్‌ మార్చాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ఇంజిన్‌ కోసం ప్రత్యేక రూట్‌ ఉండాలి. కానీ దీని విషయంలో సమస్య ఉంది. మచిలీపట్నం నుంచి సికింద్రాబాద్‌ వెళ్లే రైలు స్టేషన్‌లోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఇంజిను మార్చుకోవాల్సి ఉంది. దీనికి 15 నిమిషాల సమయం పడుతుంది. కానీ కనీసం 30 నిమిషాలు నిలిపివేస్తున్నారు. కారణం ఇంజిను మార్చే మార్గం విషయంలో స్పష్టత లేకపోవడమే. అదే సమయంలో మరో రైలు చెన్నై నుంచి వస్తే దాన్ని కృష్ణా కెనాల్‌ జంక్షన్‌ వద్ద నిలిపి వేయాల్సి వస్తోంది.
స్టేషన్‌లో ఉన్న 8,9, 10 ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలకు సీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ అనుమతి లేదు. 1 నుంచి 7 ప్లాట్‌ ఫారాల వరకే సీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ అనుమతి ఉంది. దీంతో రూట్‌ లాక్‌ అవుతుందని ఇంజినీర్లు చెబుతున్నారు. దిల్లీ నుంచి వచ్చే రైళ్లు, సికింద్రాబాద్‌ నుంచి వచ్చే రైళ్లు 8, 9, 10 వైపు నిలపాల్సి ఉంది.
3,4,5 ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలను 24 కోచ్‌లు పట్టే విధంగా ఆధునికీకరించారు. ఈ ప్లాట్‌ఫారాలు విస్తరించడంతో సిగ్నల్‌ ఓవర్‌లాప్‌ అయినట్లు తెలిసింది. ఇది కొత్త సమస్యకు కారణం అవుతోంది.
రోజూ విజయవాడ స్టేషన్‌ ద్వారా వెళ్లే వాటిలో 300 వరకు గూడ్సు రైళ్లు ఉన్నాయి. గూడ్సు రైళ్లను పంపించేందుకు ఇంటర్‌ లాకింగ్‌ అడ్డుపడుతోంది. ప్లాట్‌ఫారాల మధ్యలో ఉండే ట్రాక్‌ల ద్వారా వీటిని పంపుతారు. కానీ ఇంటర్‌ లాకింగ్‌ వల్ల బయటకు వెళ్లేందుకు సమస్య ఉత్పన్నమవుతోంది.

There is no development of BZA railway station which is the bottle neck of the south bounded trains . But no 1 is awake in development of it, may be by pass line should be built between MBD-KCC, and RYP-KCC ,Is best way but it is also typical one hw ever it should Built. Already this got a letter to railway minister but no approval.
