My view is that after connecting Kiriburu (KRBU) with Bolani Khadan (BYX), trains should run from Rourkela to Bhubaneswar or Cuttack via Rourkela - Bimlagarh - Kiriburu - Bolani Khadan - Barbil - Banspani - Kendujhar - Sukinda Road - Cuttack - Bhubaneswar.

Shade is being made in Platform No. 1 of Dangoaposi. Till now Platform No. 2 is the main platform in Dangoaposi. The shade built in Platform No. 2 is very short and small while the shade being made in Platform No. 1 is more longer. But what is really needed in Dangoaposi Rly Station in the building of Foot Overbridge from Platform No. 1 across the Yard towards the South. The existing Foot Overbridge connects the station with the northern area. People coming from the Southern area have to cross the yard on foot by going from the front of the Standing Goods trains' engines to reach the station. Sometimes when goods trains are going, people have to wait for the goods trains to cross and sometimes even the passenger/express trains get missed due to the passing goods trains.

Pantry car is most need to attach with this train I.e., 18516/18515 VSKP-TATA-VSKP weekly Express and also RSA. It's a long journey train. On this train's route, there is no amenities available between CTC & DPS. Also train is running by 1hr late of average. During Down(18515), it's critical to get the food.

This is really serious matter that there is no pantry car in this train. As this train runs through backward areas, I doubt that good food may be available between Tata and Cuttack. And this is overnight train! How the passengers might be travelling in this train is unimaginable. Railway board must do something to introduce pantry car in this train otherwise due to absence of pantry car also bookings will be very low.

I think that after the building of these new lines, some trains to south India from Barbil may start and the Birmitrapur - Barsuan Passenger may be extended upto BSPX or BBN. But these lines are being build now purely for the convenience of goods trains. Presently the goods trains going towards KDJR from BBN or Bolani Khadan are going via DPS by reversing Loco at Dps.

I agree that this train should be regularized. But its timings is not suitable for local passengers and in the route from CTC to TATA about 95% of the passengers are local passengers travelling in the general coaches. Reservations for long route from the stations between TATA and CTC is only about 5%. A train really needed in this route is BBN to Ranchi or Hatia via CBSA and CKP in morning and return in the evening. A lot of people travel from the stations like BBN, BJMD, NOMD, DPS, MLKA, JNK, CBSA etc. to CKP and Ranchi everyday. They travel upto CBSA by BBN - TATA passenger (Train 58104) and catch the bus from CBSA. That is why Ranchi, Chakradharpur and Hazaribagh Buses are nowadays parking right inside CBSA station premises to take passengers from BBN - TATA Passenger and after the arrival of this Passenger all these buses become...
packed instantly everday. A train to RNC via CKP will get both CKP as well as RNC passengers.

When this train will extend? It's need to extend to ROU or JSG. Yes, it is possible, if train will leave 5.00h from ROU, then it's willn't affect on the rake sharing of it. It's urgent need.

I doubt that this will ever happen unless there is some direct influence by some minister or powerful person. This is because it runs between Chakradharpur and Chaibasa purely for the Railway authorities who travel in this train in free fund. Even the Ticket Checkers in CKP Station disappear when this train starts from or reaches CKP and those in the train do not appear between CKP and CBSA. There may be some direct unofficial order regarding this. It starts from CKP in the morning on time but in the evening it is made to reach CKP very late. After reaching CBSA from BBN, it seems to run according to the sweet time of the railway authorities. It is made to halt every now and then and reaching CKP from CBSA for the Paid Customers becomes a pain. More than 90% of the train becomes full of Railway Staff who keep...

It can possible but only after completion of BSPX-BBN(17.5km) new line. Train is need to run from BSPX to direct BBN(except via-DPS:50+km) and then on previous route. Trains to ROU from KDJR and JODA(a new station is coming up near JBCN) and BBN will boost the passenger density of this route or area.

Oh, sorry! I didn't make it more clear. This train runs from PURI to BBN first as train no 18416 (PURI - BARBIL EXPRESS) and then it runs from BBN to CKP as train no 18404 (BARBIL - CHAKRADHARPUR EXPRESS). Next morning, it starts from CKP as train no 18403 (CHAKRADHARPUR - BARBIL EXPRESS) and goes to BBN and then as train no 18415 (BARBIL - PURI EXPRESS), it runs from BBN to PURI. See the train Board on the top of this page. Its written PURI BARBIL CHAKRADHARPUR EXPRESS. Now the people who are talking about its extension to ROU or JSG, want that when it runs as train no 18404 upto CKP from BBN, it should go upto ROU or JSG and next morning, when it starts from CKP as train no 18403, it should start from ROU or JSG instead. So extension is not actually demanded for train...

Many people are preferring that this train should go from PURI to BBN by bypassing Dangoaposi (DPS) i.e. by running through the upcoming new BSPX - BBN line. This will save both distance and time making it to reach CKP earlier and it will get chance for extension to ROU or JSG. It will also not affect the passengers of DPS as it will reach DPS in this way - BSPX - BBN - BJMD - NOMD - DPS. The stations before BSPX will coincide with those of train 18416 (PURI BARBIL EXPRESS) and the stations after DPS will coincide with those of train 18404 (BARBIL CHAKRADHARPUR EXPRESS). But, there are the following problems in this proposal:
1. What about the stations
Murgamahadev Road (MMVR) and Deojhar (DJHR)? They will be completely bypassed and this is the only train having stoppage at these stations. I mean all the trains not having stoppage at these stations like train no 18515/18516 (TATANAGAR - VISAKHAPATNAM WEEKLY EXPRESS), 08189/08190 (TATANAGAR - VISAKHAPATNAM DP DIWALI SPECIAL EXPRESS), and 07438/07439 (KACHEGUDA - TATANAGAR HOLIDAY SPECIAL EXPRESS), can run in the above said route because they have no stoppage between BSPX and DPS but this train 18415/18416 cannot be made to lose two stations from its route.
2. Also most people feel it very weird that this train runs from PURI to DPS, then after reversing Loco from DPS to BBN, then after reversing Loco again, BBN to DPS and then from DPS to CKP. On one run it runs through the DPS - BBN segment twice. But people forget that the train running between PURI and BBN and that running between BBN and CKP are different trains having different train nos. They just have rake sharing which is a totally different matter. Any train can have rake sharing with any other train. Anyone of both the rake shared trains has nothing to do with the route of the other train. See, that train 18415/18416 has stoppage at Noamundi but train 18403/18404 has no stoppage at Noamundi, why? Because officially both are different trains. Initially train 18403/18404 had no stoppage at Bara Jamda also but Bara Jamda has been stoppage of the train 18415/18416 right from the beginning.

The Boards of this Train have been Changed and new yellow colored Boards have been fixed. But in all the new boards, from the writing "Howrah - Barbil", Howrah looks dark and new while Barbil has faded away and looks as if it was written long ago. How can only one side i.e. which side Barbil has been written, fade away so soon while the side where Howrah is written remain new and bright from one board?

Is the new time table a joke? Rake reversal takes place at Dangoaposi and the train 18416 has been given stoppage of 1 Minute at Dangoaposi. How can engine be detached, brought to the back of the train through another line and attached to the back in 1 Minute? The train 18415 has already stoppage of 30 minutes at Dangoaposi.

This route is showing in this website in the time table link "Show all intermediate Stations". Also "All Arrivals/Departures at Dangoaposi" is showing is showing this train with "No Stop" remark. But the return of this train is showing via Bhadrak - Balasore.
