I have travelled 2-3 times in this train till Bilaspur ( You have to get ticket till Howrah). In all cases, train reached Bilaspur around 9:15 AM and stopped for about 15-20 mins ( Lunch for day 2 is loaded from Bilaspur also there is change of driver/guard). There is a slight possibility for this train to skip Bilaspur tech halt, if there is route change due accident etc..
I travelled in this train again on 24th from Pune to Bilaspur ( Tech Halt) and there was engine change and reversal at Manmad. Also there is a bit difference in coach position ( as compared to coach postion mentioned in this site) from Pune : Engine, guard cum power van, A3, A2, A1, H1, Pantry then third AC coaches.
Train reached Daud at 16:20, Manmad arrived at 20:15 and left at 20:30, Bhusaval at 22:40, Nagpur at 03:15 and Bilaspur at 09:30

Recently I was travelling in this train and was highly surprised to observe 2 things :-
1. The train was continuously running before time i.e. running half an hour ahead of its scheduled time mentioned in its technical halts from MMR to TATA
2. It has a reversal at MMR which was most shocking!!
I had travelled from PUNE to HWH on 8th Oct

Fully agree with DesertFOX . I have also traveled in 12221 and there was engine change and reversal at Manmad. Let "experts" discuss why and how but engine reversal at Manmad is a fact.

I travel in this route very frequently and there is no loco reversal in case of train like Azad Hind. however, I traveled in Duronto last year in November and there was engine change and loco reversal at Mammad

Travel SAFE
