The trip was super peaceful and I was asleep foe the most part of this trip until a group of 40 Gujjus barged into the boogie and all talking at the same time at the last station and woke me up.
Ohno, it's just 10 or less of these people talking as if the world is just about to end. lol
Just for my knowledge, where can I complain if a few seating passengers are causing chaos for reserved long journey passengers?

An ajji (old lady) got on the train from Harihar (unscheduled stop, I guess) without inquiring with anyone about her destination. Apparently she really needed to reach Haveri and was very distressed when she was told that this train doesn't have a stop at Haveri. (I wasn't sure, but the train route here says next station is Hubli). She got lucky though and the train stopped for a minute at BYD and she got down just before we passed HVR. I hope she found another train to get to her destination.
It sucks that I couldn't help her with any useful information.

Yeah, I feel like she was very lucky this train halted at BYD too. Otherwise she would have ended up in UBL, and would have to find another train back to Haveri now, at around 22:15.
Hoping she makes it in time for whatever it is she was going for. It sounded like some urgency.

There's a pantry car right next to my coach (S8), but departure from BLR was at 13:45, perhaps they don't serve lunch because it's this late.

The food and tea vendors in train keep telling each other "control karo", " control ho raha hai?" while chuckling at each other. Anyone know what is this new fad?
By the way, Udyan Express is totally hopeless when it comes to catering. And I've lost all hope with hot beverage vendors in Indian Railways. Only a handful of railway stations have good tea, rest are all shitty. On board vendors are the most hopeless.

For the 20th time, reminding myself that this train doesn't have pantry. Carry your own lunch. Also, railways might never ever learn to make tea, so carry your own thermos full of tea too.
