Could you confirm about ..

1) Whether till Abhyapuri is done or only till Chapar is almost completed and balance will take time?
2) Electrification status of NCB- GKJ -GUP-DBB? As I have seen in youtube that line meeting from GKJ site @ NCB has waring.

Got that. Also this will be the alternate route to Guwahati avoiding major stations after NCB. Hence along with long distance, goods play important roll after opening. Hence Electrification is immediate need and also approved in the basic proposal. I believe we can see some developments after electrification reaches Guwahati within 1-2 months. Benefit of electrification we can get only if this branches are also electrified to avoid use of Diesel.

This station is helpful for the workers & staffs working in airport but not for the most of passengers. very less number of trains are in operations. Passengers cant wait for train after de-boarding . Also the distance between Airport terminal & Station is huge, near to 4 KM. Following can be done for success of this station from Govt Karnataka & Railway. A) Electrification & make it double line section. B) Frequent EMU service from Mysore, Hosur & other side of Bangalore, C) Devanahalli should be the terminal D) Frequent Bus service to airport terminal E) Bus should not ask for separate tickets and one railway tickets should be accepted for road part also. F) Regular advertisement of the facility.
