W/L 4 got confirmed, which was a pleasant surprise.

Cabin is clean and temperature inside is pleasant.
Pillow and Blanket has been kept beforehand but bed sheets maybe given later once the train leaves SBC.
No overhead space to keep the small bags. Usually have seen all the cabins have that. If not 2 next to the upperberths, atleast one in the centre above the switches.

Started moving at 20:04 for a 20:00 departure.

Like they have red-eye flights, this one is a red-eye train for me. Have to get down at CBE at 03:10. Have to keep multiple alarms and possibly disturb rest of the pasengers in the cabin ;-)

There should be a list of red-eye trains, or sleep-killers as they are usually called. Would make interesting reading.
SBC-MAS Mail is one hell of a sleep-killer that I know of and commonly take !

On E1 and passenger load seems very light. AC has been switched ON only now, 7-8 mins before departure.
