I'm nt getting one thing, when the target for this route is between MOB KAMAREDDY then why the work has started from NZB ?

That was long back and I don't think RM will come in the situation like now. Moreover what he's possibly gonna do ? Start digging by himself ? He can do the inauguration virtually. This continues delay won't help in running end to end Elocos from NED division.

Why would they electrify upto 3kms ? The standard procedure requires only 500 mtrs in every direction.

500 mtrs is sufficient for loco reversal. Also first they'll have to build a bypass line to electrify it. I think NZB SC electrification has indeed started.
