I just want to share a travel experience that I had last week. I was traveling from NDLS-BSB with 12560/Shiv Ganga Express and BSB-UMB with 12237/Begampura Express. The interesting fact that both the train were running before time throughout the entire journey. I reached MUV 15 min early with 12560/Shiv Ganga Express and reach UMB 10 min early with 12237/Begampura Express.
One interesting fact we should know that ALD-MUV is a single line track without electrification and BSB-LKO not complete double line. Still both the trains able to maintain good speed and punctuality.
this not happen when we travel from GKP to anywhere or anywhere to GKP? The average delay for every high priority train is more than 2 hours like BSK, Vaishali, Gorakhdham, Humsafar.

Bro work chlrha hai pure LKO-GKP section mein..this section will get speeded up in hthe coming months time to 120 MPS...toh TSR lga Rhta hai mostly at different places..wait from some time bs..😊😀

There is a fact that SG is high priority train and run in two zone who treats it better also track condition is good for it 80% journey. BG run in single zone with tag and dont have any handover. Apart from that GKP bound trains which you mentioned run via three or four zone change over, the timings and congestion made it worst and then track condition give it a boost to lower punctuality. I hope your doubt is now clear!!

There are major track work going between burwal-gonda-khalilabad section. You will spot minimum 8 to 9 heavy TSR which results in more delay of trains. Crossing CNB and LKO is always a bottleneck for any train and this adds more pain to traveller.

I understand and see everything. We see how train got stuck outside of LKO outer for hours now. We can see how BSK stand on LKO outer for hours on the daily basis. But my main question is when this going to end. I only seeing it getting worst after double line and electrification.
Railway should start giving priority to NER. There are lots of people who leave away from home and travel a lot in NER.

These things will not going to change in once, its a steady and very slow process. for preceeding LKO NR has to be developed and re-constuction of outers need to be done. You see train usuall takes 3hrs for 100kms BBK-CPB LKO NR primeses if they are ontime but when late this multiples the delay. also waiting at kanpur for starter is also very tedious including its outer waiting time, so I see no further improvement for NER side train for next 10yrs.. we have to compromise and adjust ourselves with this.

Is this train ever going to run on time ? Average delay of this train is more then 2 hours. Railway were calling this train as super luxary train with high priority and they are charging extra charges for ticket, then why they are not giving preority to this train ?

Iski problem iska 110 MPS hi h..jb 130 milega toh OT kregi trains Ko aur priority bhi milegi...Isse aage Kushinagar chlti h LKO tak aur Marudhar ka bhi Wahi aas pas time h..Agar wo dono thda sa bhi late hojati h toh ye delay hojati h..But"Yes LkO outer bhi ek prblm h"..But wo nrmal case h..Agar ye CNB right time nhi pahuchi toh late hona hi hona h..Best tbhi possible h jb Ise CNB-NDLS mein 130 mile aur ye Patna Rajdhani Ko follow krre NDLS tak..Sbse best option h..
Therefore 130 MPS hi bachaa skhta h isko ab..

Guys, the point is railway is charging extra money for that and also dynamic pricing and still I am not getting the services. Either railway should reduce the price or run this train on time.

Extra money to rake manufacture and maintenance cost recovery ke liye hai. Brsides 3A traveller can manage seats at last moment while normal SF are overflowing with WL. So services come at cost. Route and timings issue hai. Via CNB chalane ka koi advantage nahi hai

I am not agree that extra monay for rake manufacture and maintenence cost. Most of the trains are getting LBH coaches now, but railway not charging extra money over there. Railway were calling this train high preority luxuary train, lots of media attention over there. But the reality is the this train have least priority then normal super fast train.

Are we moving in backward direction in terms of train punctuality ?
Most of the Train running towards Gorakhapur keep getting late by average 2-3 hours on daily basis.
We have electrified double track from LKO-GKP, but still train can't able to complete the journey in 4:30-5 Hrs. Average Speed is just 56 KM/hr.
High Priority train like Humsafar Expresss, BSK
, Gorakhdham keep getting late by 2-3 hrs. If we go behind 5-6 Years ago, we had the same situation.
Nothing is improving in terms of speed and punctuality.
When we can expect this to be get better ?

Most of the train getting delay between CNB-LKO and Alamnager-LKO. but still average speed between LKO-GKP is only 56 from a long time.
When this can be improve?
Also why railway not improving the speed of Humsafar Express between CNB-NDLS? LHB inbound express train like Poorva Exp, Purushottam express, Samornkranti Running at 130 KM/Hr.
