But it is good as we can differentiate them from others. Just a Discussion !!! Recently I read an article that a Middle East country is planning to set up a railway network in that country. I believe that Indian Railways is THE BEST in the world to give consultancy to such projects worldwide. See, the other countries like Germany, Japan and the likes may have technology to manufacture better Engines and Coaches. But we are no less. And when it comes to management of the Rail Network NOBODY CAN BEAT US. My suggestion is that the Indian Railways MUST setup a consultancy board which takes up such worldwide projects. There is a GOI undertaking - RITES - which provides consultancy services on various projects in different countries. may be they have/are responded/responding to the offer. We have shortage of coaches and locos - even fulfilling our demands take time - inspite of that, these coach factories do export. the above was just info that we are already on the job. Saudi Arabia (It could help the Haj pilgrims tremendously), Turkey, Russia (Yes Russia), Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, erstwhile UAE, Cambodia, North & South Vietnam ( considering that there is peace now), etc. etc. etc.... REGRET/WL == Booking not allow after this In "WLxx/WLyy" xx indicates the position at which you join the wait list if there is no cancellation of cnf tickets or wait listed tickets ahead of you while "yy" indicates your current position in the waitlist as a result of cancellation of cnf tickets and waitlisted tickets ahead of you. For example "WL25/WL20" means if there had been no cancellation of cnf tickets and better positioned waitlisted tickets, the position of the next purchaser of the reservation would have been 25th. But as a result of cancellation of cnf tickets and better positioned waitlisted tickets, the next purchaser of reservation will be placed at the 20th position in the wait list. Actually, if there is a train stoppage at a station it must have been considered by previous ministers and teams. I am sure many of you will agree that development of a region is linked to stoppage of trains at particular stations. But this takes time and the first step towards that could be this stoppage.
