1. PA system of almost all the coaches unserviceable.(Carry print out of time table with you , it will help you to monitor the stations, and running status of train)
2. Serving trays bulging out due to prolonged use, needs replacement. (Please use news papers on your laps / tables else cracked and bulging out trays will spoil ur clothes (and moods))
3. Spoons and cups are washed in a un-hygienic way in the coach itself.(Try to wash spoons yourself before use and ask for disposable cups from waiters).

Ice creams are served after much delay of meals (by the time pax get sleeping specially after dinner) and most of the pax say NO. ( Do not say NO as they are making money out of it by selling to platform vendors at low less rates< better you keep with you and ask for your colleagues if they require..( I am always interesting in it for ice creams :))
5. Condition of liquid soap is very poor. It is either missing or cheap one. ( Carry personal small soap with you) .
6. If you got upper birth , then there are chances of bitter experience of cold breezes from vents of AC panels. In night time it is too cool and causes trouble...( Better to keep additional clothing as no one will listen you in night time to adjust the AC ( however you can go and switch OFF the COMPRESSOR1 and COMPRESOR2 CBs in AC pannels to make yourself comfortable...(switching OFF anything in that panel will not cause any negative results ..)
7.In most of the curtains well-crow is out of order.(please carry safety pins as a alternative )
8. In ACII/ACIII there are 6/8 pax depending on only 02 electrical outlets for 40+hrs journey which is less. ( Please carry multi-plug for seamless use of outlets ( be cautious do not use heavy loads use only mobile or laptops in this case)
9. Attendant will ask for bed sheets , blankets and towels by saying " SIR AGLA STATION TO AB DELHI HAI ..." do not give all these... as train may get delayed due to unforeseen reason and then you will not get it back ...
10. Attendant and waiters are seen taking money to park extra loads like steel trunks, bulky bags, cartoons etc ... It is comfortable to individual but can prove fatal in case of emergencies. In case of any incident/accident they will block the ways/subways and you can be trapped inside to face consequences. Believe me I faced similar situation in 1994 while traveling from Bangalore to NDSL in KK express. Try to report the matter to TTE for keeping ways/sbways clear all the times.

11. Now a days military/paramilitary personnel are observed smoking inside the toilets of Rajdhani Trains... Even I noticed they were drinking in side the coaches. ( I do not have any tip in this regard that how to stop them as complaining against then is not fruitful) .

Recently traveled in 12423 and 12424 from Dibrugarh to New Delhi and return ( 06 Feb / 20 Feb). Came to know that catering charges are hiked.. but astonished to know that Jam,Salad, Toffees are missing from trays... Can any body explain>. why? In 12424 PC Manager didn't served Dhai and ice cream in last meal ( Dinner) of 21 Feb 14.

This is regarding my previous request no ( MORLY/E/2013/04023) and my previous journey by 12424 (departed on 23 June 2013) from New Delhi to Dibrugarh Town ( PNR 21445778412) Coach B5, Seat No 28. Following points may be noted for further action.

not at all satisfactory. Fruit juice is not given as explained in my previous request also. However on 24 June I made a call ( from my mobile No 09401094599) to GM – Meals on Wheels (9910492240) after which I could get fruit juice.
-- It seems a regular practise to get our entitlement in trains after requesting for petty items like tissue papers, éclairs, tooth picks . Menu cards must be issued to all passengers before starting the journey/ along with first meal in long route trains.
-- Plastic trays are bulged out ( Repeated complaint)
-- It is understood that one bottle of water is entitled after 20 hours of journey. Waiters are not giving water bottles of their own after 20 hours or so and we have to request for the second bottle of water (Repeated complaint)
-- This time coach was too shabby. Toilets were very dirty and flushes of both toilets ( at non catering side) were U/S. Thrice I requested to get it rectified but coach attendant hardly gave any positive response in this regard. At the time train reached Dibrugarh, toilets were extremely dirty and it was very difficult for my kids to go for early morning natural calls ( Refer PNR 244-5116699 of same coach seat No 49,50 and 52 of same train same date).
-- Big steel ( black painted box) was placed in common corridor which may cause difficulty to passengers during any emergency.
-- Requesting for early and prompt materialisation of my points for future compliance

This is regarding my travel in 12436 Rajdhani (catering services).
This time I found waiters are not washing spoons and cups in washbasin meant for passengers.... GOOD response to my previous complaints. However following points may be noted for further improvement :
1. Waiters are found doing short supply of items in trays... that is missing or one eclair, missing pickle, missing Jam etc. Normally they do not serve fruit juice in evening Tea by saying " are sahaeb koi sham

2. Secondly plastic trays are bulged out from center , cracked trays etc. Trays needs to be replaced with good quality one.
3. Earlier menu was displayed in wrappers on serving tray with every meal but now it is not displayed and passengers (specially first time travelers in Rajdhani) will not know about their entitlement in this regard.
4. Local Curd ( Dhaeen ) was picked from station and served which does not have any mfd / exp date and that too in loose packing.
5. After Lunch / Dinner ice cream was served too late ( even after 1.30 Hrs) by the time most of the passengers got slept.
6. It is understood that one bottle of water is entitled after 20 hours of journey. waiters are not giving water bottles of their own and we ( passengers) need to demand for the same. Even I saw some passengers purchasing water from stations. For extra water bottle they are not giving any bill for that.

7. Waiters are asking for more and more tip from passengers after last serving it is not good....
8. Train reaches to Dibrugarh Railway Station at 0615 but no bed tea is served....
Thanks in advance to someone who can carry forward these points to concerned authorities for quality services in train.
