So unless there is a special situation, 10 pm connection is safe. Best way to go to Bandra is through the famous Mumbai Local. Catch Western Railway line from Dadar (Western) to Bandra. This journey will take you about 10 minutes. (about 30 minutes - walking to platform, waiting for train, etc.). So, if Udyan is 30 minutes late, then you can make your connection. Warning: Don't be in too much of a hurry when you board the Mumbai Local. Wait till the train completely stops. Don't board or get down from a moving train, since the train accelerates very, very fast. Many, many people have got seriously hurt, boarding a moving local. Rest is luck. Good luck. @saurabh kothari: Entry# 18604 udayan goes to MUMBAI CST so it stops in the central line of dadar station...dadar is a changeover point and is common for both western and central lines....bandra is in western line...so get down at dadar and go to the WR platforms and take any local going towards virar...fast and slow locals all stop at bandra...good luck... @saurabh kothari: Entry# 18604 as others have said locals is the best option and the cheapest. however if with luggage and first time in mumbai western line locals, then dont even try. moreover you will have to get a local train ticket to bandra. instead get out of the station and get a taxi. will cost you between 60-80 to bandra station @anon: Re# 18604-3 Yes, it would be better to avoid local trains at that time as they will be extremely crowded and it will be next to impossible to get in and out of the train with luggage. Better option is take a taxi from Dadar to Bandra. @saurabh kothari: Entry# 18604 2 month old post do not reply now. its better to lock it.
