19305/19306 Kshipra express covers 1754 km end-to-end & doesn't have a Pantry car. That's frustrating :(

I think some of these trains like Steel Express and DQ have historically been commuter trains having dining/pantry cars since inception (from British ka Zamana).

No problem but it's not guranteed that TTE might not hand over your seat to anybody else bcoz the TTE's are entitled to do so for no show tickets.

Travelled from MAS to HWH on HWH mail on 13/11. Got an upgrade to 2A. But was nearly robbed in broad daylight by the pantry stuff. He charged Rs. 90 for a chicken meal!!!!(inadequate quantity) . The same meal cost me only 60 in Coromandel on my way to chennai. Why is it so? There is no standard pricing.

Sir I think they're following Duronto pattern. In Duronto one Chicken Meal has actual price listing of Rs 85(I guess).Though its not charged directly but included in the fare.

There should be some uniformity in the rakes in IR. Why dont ICF also start manufacturing LHB coaches like RCFs? Are the very expensive?

Conventional coaches run for 25 years and are prices at Rs 1.5 crore, while LHB AC coaches cost between Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 3 crore, serve about a decade more.

Coromandel & its Counter Part Madras Mail are one of the dirtiest rakes of South Eastern Rly.Even Howrah Yesvantpur has also become very dirty especially the sleeper coaches.I dont know why Santragachhi Coaching Yard is showing so much negligience towards the Rakes maintained by it.Previously it maintained all the rakes very neat & clean.I think they should learn something from SWR & SCR.

It depends on the specific zone/journey leg the train is going through. There isn't a normal MPS decided or followed for a train.

There being so many trains for bhadrak and balasore, why does a great train like Coro have stoppages at those stations. The stoppages should be limited as b4 so that it can live upto its old glory and importance once again.
