Deepak Rawat 2 blog postsHello All, If the timing of this train suites your needs, please do book this train. It is highly recommended because of the route it takes. This train takes the beautiful Konkan railways route which is full of Natural scenic views, Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Tunnels, Bridges, Few Water falls and Little Sea view near Goa. Right from the morning till the evening traveler is busy and entertained by the views out of the window. Second day is bit boring as it runs through dry region of Gujrat, Rajasthan and UP. As Far as views are concerned 10/10 to this train. Very IMPORTANT, this train does not have a Pantry Car, they take your orders and provide you food which they upload from Stations enroute. Food is over priced compared to the quality. Chicken biryani costed Rs. 110 and it was stale. Since there is no Pantry you cannot exchange or...

Deepak Rawat 2 blog postsWe took this train for our Kerala Trip. Talk about efficiency and journey, I would rate this train 9/10. Food served on the train through on board Pantry Car is 7/10 and nothing to complaint about. Variety is missing which is quite acceptable on Trains. Cleanliness of the train is good. Beggars and Hawkers on the train bother you a bit. Route taken by the train is averagely scenic. Carriages or boggys of the train are very old. We traveled in S6, I guess it was the oldest on the train, built in 1995 and still serving the people. While travelling by this train do not miss views of Sanchi Stupa and Tirupati Hill temples along with other magnificent views from Train. Happy Journey.
