Travelled recently from GKP to ANVR:
1. Usually arrives on Platform 6 at GKP, usually always on time at GKP..
2. Coaches are neat and clean.. Toilets well kept, bedrolls and all available for 25rs.

Train was 2hrs late in reaching ANVR - Reached at 2.30pm
5. Do remmber that becoz it's a garib rath, the side seats are slightly uncomfortable becoz there are 3 seats on the side...
Definitely a nice train.. Worth travelling again..

Travelled recently from ANVR to GKP in this train and here are my detailed observations so that other travellers might benefit:
1. The Train starts from ANVR station, Platform 1 and the train is usually parked at the platform right from around 12:30pm even though the departure time from the station is at 3pm.

well kept, the condition in the sleeper coaches is bad. Such a prestigious train should definitely have much more cleaner, well kept sleeper coaches.
3. The train is one of the most punctual trains on the Delhi to GKP route with very very few stops. If you get AC, then this is definitely the train to choose. The train reached every single stop usually 5-10 mins ahead of its actual arrival time at the stations, atleast till GKP.

Travelled recently in this train and here are my observations regarding this train:
1. Train arrives at Old Delhi station. So if u are a tourist looking to travel from Delhi, this might not be the best option since Old Delhi station is a good half hour autorikshaw ride from New Delhi...

have a good airconditioned McDonalds store. Far better than waiting on the platform in the heat.
3. Train was far more neater and cleaner than i expected. But then my travel was in AC 3 tier and sleeper coaches seemed kinda old and not so well kept. In the 3AC coach, the housekeeping staff regularly wiped the floor with disinfectant and removed all the trash and all.. Well kept and clean.
4. Have consistently noticed that this train usually has seats available under the tatkal quota even when almost every other train on the Delhi-Gorakhpur route is full.. So if u travelling during peak season and struggling for a ticket, this train will usually have seats available in the tatkal quota.
