Vishal Pipraiya 11 blog postsHad a major setback on this train while travelling in sleeper coach on 1st september, 2011. I had the side upper berth just as you enter the compartment. My SLR camera, a 70-300mm lens and my wallet got stolen from this berth shortly after the train started from patna. All in all a loss of atleast 35000rs.!! The thief managed to sneak away my camera bag from the upper berth which contained these items while I was sitting down and eating something. All this happened in a matter of minutes and the thief supposedly jumped off at Rajendranagar. In hindsight, I was a bit careless in leaving such an important bag on top while I sat down, but at that moment it seemed pretty safe. :( One of the Railway policeman confessed to me later on that a thief stole a mobile from his trousers while he was taking a nap...
