NON-INTERLOCKED WORKING AT SHORANUR JUNCTION
Non-interlocking work at Shoranur
Non- interlocked working at Shoranur, for introduction of double line working between Shoranur and Karakkad stations, and yard remodelling work at Shoranur, will be under taken for 28 days from 4th April, 2013.
The advantages after completion of this work are-
i) Doubling between Shoranur and Karakkad stations will avoid detention of trains at Shoranur and karakkad for crossing and Shoranur – Managalore Jn section will become fully double line operated section.
ii) One more additional platform No. (7) with 24 coaches capacity, will be available

Diversion of Trains(without touching Shoranur)
i) Train Nos.13351/13352 Dhanbad/Tata Nagar – Allapuzha - Dhanbad/Tata Nagar Express will be diverted from 04/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will be provided with additional stoppages at Wadakancherry and Ottapalam during this period.
ii)Train Nos.17229/17230 Kochuveli – Hyderabad – Kochuveli Sabari Express will be diverted from 04/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will be provided with additional stoppage at Wadakancherry during this period.
iii) Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Tri-weekly Express will be diverted from 06/04/2013 to 30/04/2013. Train No.12512 Thiruvananthapuram – Gorakhpur tri-weekly Raptisagar Express will be diverted from 07/04/2013 to 01/05/2013.
iv)Train No.16327 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Bi-weekly Express will be diverted from 05/04/2013 to 29/04/2013. Train No.16328 Thiruvananthapuram – Korba bi-weekly Express will be diverted from 04/04/2013 to 29/04/2013.
v)Train No.16325 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahalyanagari weekly Express will be diverted from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. Train No.16326 Thiruvananthapuram – Indore Ahalyanagari weekly Express will be diverted from 06/04/2013 to 27/04/2013.
vi) Train No.12521 Barouni – Eranakulam Raptisagar weekly Express will be diverted from 04/04/2013 to 25/04/2013. Train No.12522 Eranakulam – Barouni Raptisagar weekly Express will be diverted from 05/04/2013 to 26/04/2013.
vii) Train Nos.16343/16344 Thiruvananthapuram – Palakkad Town – Thiruvananthapuram Amritha Express will be diverted from 21/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will be provided with additional stoppage at Wadakancherry during this period.
viii)Train No.56605 Coimbatore – Thrissur passenger will be diverted from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013.
Partial Cancellation of Trains
i)Train Nos.56613 / 56614 and 56615 / 56616 Shoranur Jn – Nilambur Road – Shoarnur Jn passenger trains will be cancelled between Shoarnur and Angadippuram Stations from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run only between Angadippuram and Nilambur Road Stations during this period.
ii) Trains Nos.66605/66604 Coimbatore – Shoranur – Coimbatore passenger trains will be concelled between Palakkad Jn and Shoranur Jn from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Coimbatore Jn and Palakkad Jn only during this period.
iii) Trains Nos.56323/56324 Coimbatore – Mangalore Central – Coimbatore fast passenger trains will be concelled between Palakkad Jn and Pallipuram Stations from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Coimbatore Jn and Palakkad Jn and from Pallipuram to Mangalore Central only, during this period.
iv) Train Nos.56651/56650 Coimbatore – Kannur – Coimbatore fast passenger will be concelled between Palakkad Jn and Pallipuram Stations from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Coimbatore Jn and Palakkad Jn and from Pallipuram to Kannur stations only during this period.
v) Train No.56606/56608 Ernakulam Jn – Shoranur Jn passenger will be cancelled between Vallathol Nagar and Shoranur Jn from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Ernakulam and Vallathol Nagar only, during this period.
vi) Train Nos.16605/16606 Mangalore Central – Nagarcoil – Mangalore Central Eranad Express will be cancelled between Thrissur and Kuttipuram station from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Nagarcoil and Thrissur and between Kuttipuram and Mangalore Central only, during this period.
vii) Train Nos.16302/16301 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shoranur Jn – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will be cancelled between Eranakulam and Shoranur Jn station from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Ernakulam Jn only during this period.
viii) Train Nos.12076/12075 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express will be cancelled between Thrissur and Kozhikode stations from 10/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Thrissur only during this period.
ix) Train No.16107 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Central Express will be cancelled between Palakkad Jn and Mangalore Central from 17/04/2013 to 30/04/2013. Train No16108 Mangalore Central – Chennai Egmore Express will be cancelled between Mangalore Central and Palakkad Jn from 18/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. These trains will run between Palakkad Jn and Chennai Egmore only during the above periods.
x) Train No.16349 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Nilambur Road Rajya Rani Express will be cancelled between Nilambur Road and Shoranur Jn stations from 20/04/2013 to 30/04/2013. Train No.16350 Nilambur Road – Thiiruvananthapuram Central Rajya Rani Express will be cancelled between Nilambur Road and Shoranur Jn from 21/04/2013 to 01/05/2013. The full rake of Rajya Rani Express, linked with that of Amritha Express, will be brought upto Palakkad Jn during this period. These trains have been provided with an additional stoppage at Wadakancherry station. Passengers from Nilambur Road side can board/alight at either Wadakancherry or Ottapalam stations during this period.
Fully Cancelled Trains
i) Train Nos.56617/56618 Shoranur Jn – Nilambur Road passenger trains will be fully cancelled for three days on 25th, 26th and 27th April 2013.
