Traveled by Chennai Bangalore yesterday 10/05/2013.
Went to platform no 2 (as mentioned in IRI) but it was not there. Then asked the guard, he shouted Pf7 (can't you see the board) Ran to Pf 7 as I was already late.
Standing on Pf7, My seat C2 5, single window seat on the middle deck. First look of DD was good, Color was ok. Train was not maintained well, didn’t looked like it’s just a month old.
Depart Chennai at 7:30, Lead by RPM WAP7. Soon picked up speed and blasted through Basin bridge, perambur, Avadi. In the mean while I had breakfast (Idly+wada) taste was good but not warm, though tea was good and hot.

Reached AJJ at 8:30. Had chat with fellow passengers, Lady on the opposite seat was not happy with conditioned of train (Plastic from the stairs came off already looked very dirty.) As my seat was near the door. The door was opened every 30 sec. It was very irritating. Some were trying to push or pull the door.
Had second cup of tea, as the taste was good. Speed was good, occasionally touching 110. Reached kpt around 9:30. Observed that most of passengers were travelling from mas to Bangalore (though didn’t see the chat) around 10% were from intermediate stations.
Tried to sleep in all tried positions but couldn't, Seat was very small and not that comfortable. Couldn't sleep in the entire journey given that I was awake whole night.
Soon reached JTJ, meet CBE MAS with ED WAP4. Was delay at BWT. After BWT it was sluggish with many stops. Stopped at malur, WFD.
Reached KJM around 1 o’clock. Many ppl got down.
Finally reached SBC on time PF7.
Some observation:
Being LHB jerks were less. It was smooth journey.
Seats were small and no push back.
WAP7 was extremely powerful, Accelerated like EMU.
Food was good, but not warm enough.
Coach was a bit congested with very little space for keeping luggage and leg room.
Many people from intermediate stations came to see the interior of the trains many were just wondering from outside
If given an option between Brindavan CC and DD CC, I will always prefer Brindavan.
