Mr. kassapamanathunga, always better to travel in II A/c while you are travelling in trains of our Country India. Prefer Rajadhani / Satabdi/ Duronto express.
Last preference is Garib Rath and Super Fast trains.

Some of the Super Fast trains ( the train number starts either with 12...) are rarely better. In case you have no option to travel by Rajadhani or Duronto then only opt for this.
Try to be less talkative with fellow passengers as one by one passenger will eager to discuss many matters and you will be the only person to answer to all their questions. Just a small advice.

While I travel from Visakhapatnam to Ernakulam, I found the ordinary coaches are fully crowded and the passengers have no place even on the steps and have no food, no water, no place to urinate ( as the toilets also occupied ).
Our Railway bureaucrats have no eyes to see their difficulty. All they are young boys travelling from North East to Chennai and Coimbatore.
Really It is hell. Every soft hearted person will shed tears to see their drastic situation.

keep doors locked at night time and also during day time also for sleeper and AC Coaches and discourage passengers to stand near doors.

normal practice is locking doors night times. whenever passenger will board, the TTE will open the door.
do not go for shopping while trains stop at small stations. this is risky . y to run and catch the trains. your belongings will be thefted and your beloved ones will fear if you do not catch train. totally the journey will be disurbed
