I have booked a ticket for my father and received the the ticket sms on my mobile. Can I forward the sms to my fathers mobile, so that he can use it during travel as a valid ticket? If not then is there any other way of sending the sms to his mobile (through irctc website)

As per my understanding, Advanced Reservation Period is 60 days. I have to travel on 05-Nov-2013 from Secunderbad to Jhansi. As of today IRCTC website is not allowing booking 05-Nov-2013 in AP Express, which is expected. However website is showing that there are no seats in Gorakhpur Exp (already WL14/15) and it is allowing to book tickets for Rajdhani. I want to know if ARP is different for different trains / routes or it is same across all trains / routes.

I am trying to book ticket for 11-Feb-2013 and today is the opening day for the 120 day window. I am surprised to see that there are only 3 seats available in AC 3 tier (LJN - SC). I am looking for lower seats for senior citizens and I am not getting the lower seats. I am wondering if there is a different quota defined nowadays for online booking. Can someone help me understand how this entire thing is working? It is hard to believe that so many people are doing booking in advance on day 1 of the window.

We have a ticket, which is booked against a warrant (ticket is for a defense person). The generated ticket has mistake in the Age and Gender of the traveling person. However the warrant # mention in the ticket is correct, which clearly shows correct details of the defense person i.e. age and gender. What corrective measures can be taken to travel without any issues? If we go for ticket cancellation then there are no seats available now, so there is no scope of getting a confirmed seat again. Please help.
