PUNE: The city will get another weekly train to Bidar in Karnataka, with the railways announcing the schedule and route details. The Mumbai-Bidar train was announced in the railway budget presented in July this year, but the route had not been specified whether it would go via Aurangabad or Pune.
The Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) — Bidar train (number 11075) will leave every Tuesday at 12.05pm, and go via Pune, Latur and Osmanabad to reach Bidar on Wednesday at 4am. From Bidar, the train (11076) will leave on Wednesday at 7.30am, arrive Pune at 7.50pm, and reach LTT at 11.55pm. At present, the city is connected with Bidar with a tri-weekly train.

the interim budget presented in February, the UPA-II government had announced three direct trains from Pune to Howrah (AC biweekly), Lucknow (weekly) and Gorakhpur (weekly). Three indirect train included Yeshwantpur-Jaipur (AC weekly), and weekly trains between Mumbai-Hubli (via Solapur, Bijapur), and between Mumbai and Chennai.
According to the railways, the Howrah-Pune bi-weekly premium AC Train will go via Nagpur?Kalyan?Panvel. The days on which the trains will run have not been announced.
The Gorakhpur-Pune (15029) weekly express will leave Gorakhpur every Thursday at 5.25pm and reach Pune at 4.05am on the third day. The Gorakhpur-Pune (15030) express will leave Pune every Saturday at 10.45am and reach Gorakhpur at 21.50pm next day.
The Hubli-LTT (17321) weekly express (via Solapur, Pune) will leave Hubli every Saturday at 10.30pm and reach LTT at 4.55pm the next day. The LTT-Hubli (17322) weekly express will leave LTT every Sunday at 9.15pm and reach Hubli at 4.45pm the next day.
The LTT-Chennai (11073) weekly express will leave every Monday at 1.20pm and reach Chennai Central at 1pm the next day. From Chennai (11074) will leave Chennai Central every Tuesday at 3.15pm and reach LTT at 4.20pm the next day.
In the railway budget presented in July by the newly elected BJP government, two direct AC trains to Delhi and Nagpur had been announced. The Delhi-Pune (12494) weekly AC express will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin every Friday at 9.35pm and reach Pune at 9.25pm the next day. From Pune, the train (12493) will leave Pune every Sunday at 5.15 am and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5.35am the next day.
The Nagpur-Pune (22124) weekly AC express will leave every Tuesday at 7.50pm and reach Pune at 11.45am the next day. From Pune (22123) will leave every Wednesday at 3.15pm and reach Nagpur at 5.15am the next day.
