Why is there no RSA for this train? I think we can utilize the rake to run services on a different route. I am assuming there is only one rake. Even with this one rake, we can run two weekly services. I agree that the frequency of SC-LTT would reduce to weekly from bi-weekly. But keeping the rake idle for almost two full days is criminal!

Scr can make this traib tri weekly.
Prev with same rake they started sc ltt ac spl for 4months and later discontinued it.
May be pf issues could ve one reason ar cr.
And to other places scr already have cocanada and drnt and only possible is tpty or mas.
ia well connected by trains to sc in diff diff routes,hence not considered and mas reasons may be pf issue.
Duribg pobgal time in 2014 scr has used this rake as sc vskp ac exp,that time there is no sc vskp weekly ac exp

I have a question for folks from SCR region. The IR Map shows that the PDPL-KRMR line is completed till Metpally. Google Maps shows that -Nizamabad-Armoor-Metpalli-Korutla-Jagityal (Lingampet)-Karimnagar-Peddapalli. Infact, indiarailinfo.com & www.erail.in shows two trains- both DMUs- originating from LPJL. Do we really have a rail line from Nizamabad to Jagityal (LPJL)??

Should Indian Railways be cashing-in on the holiday rush? Are there ways to mitigate adverse public opinion on Tatkal Special trains?
Its a given that any government operated services should come at a "reasonable" price. For the first time (in my opinion) Indian Railways is operating holiday specials as fully tatkal trains. This is a good idea from a purely commercial angle. However, given the impact such initiatives have on the general public opinion, there has to be a middle ground found to minimize adverse public opinion.
In my opinion, holiday special trains
1. Increase the number of SL & AC coached by minimizing GS coaches in the rakes.
2. Let there be general quote for reservation.
3. We could have higher % of berths blocked in the Tatkal quote.
4. Let there be focus on punctuality on the special trains. Its often found that special trains are abandoned trains having significantly high delays.

Is there a limit on the number of coaches on Rajdhani rakes? As I find that even the Mumbai Rajdhanis (incl. August Kranti Rajdhani) have a best of 20 coaches (incl. EOGs & PCs). Is it not possible to increase the rake size to 24coaches by adding 4 3A coaches?

Please provide any updates on the following:
1. Gauge conversion of the Akola-Khandwa section of SCR and Khandwa-Mhow-Indore section of WR? I understand train services on the Indore-Ratlam section via Fatehabad Chandrawatiganj have been stopped owing to gauge conversion.
2. Gauge conversion of Balaghat- Nainpur- Jabalpur section of SECR? I understand the Gondia-Balaghat section was completed several years back. Also, the other
NG sections in this region like Nagpur-Chhindwara-Seoni-Nainpur section and Mandla Fort branch line are also to be taken up for gauge conversion.
3. Are there any plans or surveys completed for the gauge conversion of Bari Sadri- Mavli Jn. - Marwar Jn MG line? I think a parallel BG line has been already laid and operational between Mavli Jn and Nathdwara.

Should the 12721/12722 Dakshin SFE be rescheduled to become the second daily full-fledged train from HYB?
As we are aware the 12721/12722 Dakshin SFE has a split/amalgamation arrangement at KZJ/WL with 12861/12862 Nizamuddin Link SFE originating at VSKP. With the split of Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh, a change in the name of 12723/12724 Andhra Pradesh SFE is doing the rounds, and rightly so. In this backdrop and also on the good demand for a train to NDLS from HYB, I think the following needs to be done ASAP:
Rename 12723/12724 HYB-NDLS as Telangana SFE
2. Rename 17035/17036 SC-SKZR as Manjira Exp.
3. Allocate a full rake for 12721/12722 Dakshin SFE to originate at HYB
4. 12721/12722 rake to be SLR-2, GS-5, SL-11, 3A-3, 2/3A-1, HCPV-2 and run as per the existing time table
5. Introduce a SCR-ECoR jointly owned new Andhra Pradesh Exp. as follows:
a. 12777/12778 Chittoor (CTO) - NDLS Andhra Pradesh SFE [SCR owned]- SLR-1, HCPV-1, SL-6, 3A-2, 2A-1, GS-1 {12}
b. 22819/22820|22821/22822 Visakhapatnam (VSKP) - NDLS Andhra Pradesh SFE Slip [ECoR owned]- SLR-1, HCPV-1, SL-6, 3A-2, 2A-1, GS-1 {12}
c. Split/Amalgamation at BZA
d. 12777/12778 stoppages at TPTY, RU, GDR, NLR, KVZ, OGL, CLX, TEL, NGNT, BZA
e. 22819/22820 stoppages at DVD, AKP, TUNI, SLO, RJY, EE, BZA [4 times a week]

Sir.. I have a point here. I see many people in Vijayawada who go to North India booking tickets from MAS for trains like TN, Gt, rapti sagar with BZA as boarding point. Last time when I travelled in TN from MAS to BZA which is unplanned, the TT asked me to sit in a coach where the maximim seats would be filled in BZA. I was surprised.

At present world,
Prakasam (ongole)and nellore dist paxs will quiet happy if following trains halt in both Ogl and NLR stns.
1) Mdu - Ddn/Cdg gives
Gives nzm,sre,cdg,ddn,haridwar connection
Karur-namkal-mdu connection.

2) cape-nzm exp
Tpj-ncj-cape connection
PAXs forced to go till bza to board haridwar train.
Being southern area's pax r forced to go to mas/ms to board south trains whr u have option too board at your stn it self.

Im sorry my friend... in the proposal that I made CTO/VSKP-NDLS is not an AC train. Its a SFE train. So there will be SL & GS classes too.

Any planning to discontinue the existing Link-Dakshin Express in the wake of Telangana separation from Andhra Pradesh;
whether an exclusive Dakshin Express from Visakhapatnam to Hazrat Nizamuddin is likely to be introduced; and
At present, there is no proposal to discontinue the services of 12861/12862 Visakhapatnam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Dakshin link Express.
to operational and resources constraints, at present, there is no proposal to introduce a direct train between Visakhapatnam and Delhi. However, at present, Visakhapatnam is well connected to Delhi by 3 pair of direct train services and one pair of link service.
