नई दिल्ली। अजमेर शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस देश की पापुलर ट्रेनों में शुमार हो गई है। इस तमगे से आम यात्रियों को कोई खास फायदा नहीं होगा, लेकिन इससे रेलवे की सेहत जरूर सुधरेगी। क्योंकि इसके लोकप्रिय ट्रेनों की पांत में शामिल होते ही लीन सीजन की छूट खत्म हो जाएगी। राजस्थान की यह पहली ट्रेन है जिसने यह मुकाम हासिल किया है।

बोर्ड द्वारा गाड़ी संख्या 12015-16 अजमेर-नई दिल्ली के अलावा गाड़ी संख्या 12027-28 बेंगलूरू-चेन्नई शताब्दी ट्रेन को पापुलर की श्रेणी में रखने का निर्णय सोमवार को लिया गया है। रेलवे बोर्ड का यह आदेश 15 जुलाई से प्रभावी हो जाएगा। हाल में रेलवे बोर्ड ने सभी शताब्दी गाडियों में यात्रियों की संख्या की समीक्षा की थी, जिसमें अजमेर शताब्दी में यात्रियों की संख्या में लगातार इजाफा पाया गया।
छूट का फंडा: ट्रेनों में कुछ माह जबरदस्त दबाव रहता है।
जैसे अप्रेल से जुलाई और सितम्बर से जनवरी तक (पीक सीजन) किसी भी ट्रेन में सीट हासिल करना टेढ़ी खीर रहता है जबकि फरवरी-मार्च और अगस्त लीन सीजन (ऑफ सीजन) के महीने में यात्रियों का टोटा रहता है। इस दौरान रेलवे एसी और स्लीपर क्लास में छूट का फंडा अपनाता है। जिसमें स्लीपर में छह, एसी चेयर और एसी थ्री में दस प्रतिशत की छूट दी जाती है। अभी तक अजमेर शताब्दी में भी यह छूट लागू थी लेकिन, अब यह ट्रेन इसके दायरे से बाहर हो गई है।
पापुलर का पैमाना
सूत्रों के अनुसार जिस ट्रेन में यात्रियों की तादाद लगातार 60 फीसदी से ज्यादा हो जाती है उसे पापुलर ट्रेन की पांत में जगह दे दी जाती है। कुछ राजधानी, शताब्दी, दुरन्तो और सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस को मिलाकर लगभग 12 सौ ट्रेन पापुलर श्रेणी में शामिल हैं।

but rest in cozy chairs in AC room. There are number of terminals and each terminal will flash the token, then only the holder of token will go to finish the booking formality. Same way, all querries regarding Train page updation should be posted in a separate tab. And the System will give every such requests a Unique no. That numbered entry will then appear as 'Pending Updation' to all Admins, who are empowered to update train page. And System will decide whether updation is complete or not whit credit being given to blogger. This will add dynamism to our site, as all the pending updations will appear at one place. And whenever the 'absent Admins resume the logging in, the work can be restarted with fun. No request for updation can go un-noticied. no entry can remain unattended. This can serve as incentive to Admins too, as they will quicken the

Frequently Updations of Info will continue as long as IR and this site exist. Systems programmers can look into this and find better way.
