I have a lingering suspicion that the travelers are short-changed in LHB coaches. I feel (my feeling, I have not measured that) that the berths are made smaller and somehow not as comfortable as ICF coaches.
This is my feeling after travelling in LHB coaches (both 3AC and 2AC). And if you get SU/SL then it is worst (try travelling with a 1 year old baby :-().
I know that LHB is great for speed and safety, but what about passenger comfort?

Is there any consolidated info available on this website about LHB coaches (how they were selected /designed)?

I suppose his question is the total availability of 2AC seats not the current w/l status (this can be easily checked). I am also wondering if an extra 2nd AC coach will be added on 1-May-2014.

12506 North East express running more than 5 hours late. And on top of that engine failure at Raghunathpur rpr...pathetic condition at danapur div.
yesterday Magadh exp was late for more than 8 hours...
All concerned railway officials (dnr, mgs,ald div) should take vrs :-) or they should be deputed/transferrrd to southern railway..just to learn how to manage affairs...same department but drastic difference ...
