Tambaram was not a temporary stoppage made in the recent times. Is that something SR is trying to avoid Tambaram or any specific reason, why Tambaram is not included in the stoppage stations list for this train ?
Many people who are away from Egmore and most of them who resides near by Southern suburban of Chennai city prefer this day time train to board @ Tambaram station.

This train 16183/16184 has been renamed to "Uzhavan Express"

T.No.16183/16184 Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur – Chennai Egmore Daily Express announced in the Railway Budget 2013-2014 will be named as Uzhavan Express. The train will be introduced on 1.9.2013 from both ends.

I will be travelling from Tiruchchirappalli Junction (TPJ) to Guindy (GDY) in the first week of June 2012.
For instance, let us consider an example that i booked my ticket for the same in VAIGAI Express (12636) from Tiruchchirappalli Junction (TPJ) to Mambalam (MBM) and rather than travelling till MBM, i get down at Tambaram (TBM) and wish to travel in local sub-urban train to Guindy (GDY) with the same ticket as the reservation is upto MBM which is beyond GDY.
Is this possible ? Is this legally allowed as per...
