In my opinion, a loco reversal at Achhnera for a SF train is a waste of time, especially if it is just a technical stoppage... Don't you think?

Superfast, AC train from Mumbai to Karmali set to run from Dec 18.The train bearing number 22115 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 1.10am every Thursday and arrive at Karmali at 11am the same day. From Goa, train number 22116 will leave from Karmali at 2pm every Thursday and arrive at LTT at 11.55pm the same day, a press note by Konkan Railway states. The train will have halts at Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Kudal. The train will have 15 coaches.

Drink (Maaza) served in the morning as well... The drink is served when the train is near Lingampalli... You get an option of having coffee/tea before breakfast and once more after breakfast... Loved my journey...
The oldest and probably one of the best trains between CSTM and SC. Recently I traveled by this train and I was astounded by the improvements that I have seen.
1) Clean toilets in 3AC
2) Pantry car providing hot meals (literally), i.e. veg/non-veg thali in hot packs (the ones which we usually carry to our offices)
BTW I got a confirmed ticket...

In fact after completion of track doubling near gulbarga & kurduvadi, all trains traversing through that route should be speeded up...

It's kind of an overnight train to SUR... that too on a Sunday... and it goes via Panvel... an excellent alternative for people living in Navi Mumbai areas... should find enough passengers till SUR...
