Earlier years, the train 01067/01068 was operated through the same root but extended upto Tirunelveli. This time, this train stopped at Kochuveli. SR has no idea to give any special train to Tamil Nadu people. It always give preference to the people from Kerala.

The Tirunelveli Hapa Express 19577 and Hapa Tirunelveli Express 19578 was earlier running as Super Fast. Now it is made "Express" train. Since it is not superfast, this train can have a stoppage at "Vallioor" in Tirunelveli District and "Kopar" in Mumbai so that the Tirunelveli side passengers and Mumbai passenger will get the use of it.
