Hi, we are a family from NJP to HWH, we have RAC tickets, this tickets would get confirmed for sure, but wanted to know whether the railways allot the tickets in one coach together or it is an automatic process wherein it get thrown anywhere, btw we are travelling on Saraighat Exp 2nd Normal sleeper coach.

There is no Guarantee that they will allow all of u in a same coach.
Subject to Cancellation there, how it's happens.
Most Probably they try to give all of u one after another or in a same coach.

nipsserviceapartment.com/location.html
The above link states the approximate location of your hotel.
In the proximity you would get good pastry shops named "Cakes", Moghlai Shops like "Rahmania" and "Shiraz" (All near Anindita/GD Island).
There are also small hotels like "Aahar" in EC Market, sweet shop "Kalpataru" in CA Market, places like "City Centre" wherein you would get shops like KFC, Pizza Hut, Inox and many
...
other big and small shops.
Assuming you pretty well know the location of KC Das opposite to Metro Cinema, Esplanade, there is a small lane at the back side of KC Das wherein you would find two juice shops where they serve Mango Juice 365 days a year.
Nearby KC Das, if you head towards Park Street, there are old and reputed shops like Flurys, Peter Cat, Moule Rouge and others.

cabs run on meter, insist that they do, do not quote any price, just say the destination and hop on, then whatever the meter reading is double it up and add Rs.2 . that is the price u pay, and Dipyaman, in Kolkata bhojohori and 6 BP charge almost the same, I know in Blore 6 BP is audaciously high charged place. And being in SL, he will find it easier, anyhow if U have only a day, have a good time at park street.

dear shanks, the best would be prepaid taxi from hwh prepaid booth just outside hwh...it will take approx 100rs and in peak hours a maximum of 90minutes...in lean hours hardly 15min.its a distance of 5 to 6kms...regular busses ply with fare of rs.6 and take 60 to 90 min.max during peak hours...your journey will be safe as cstm hwh duronto runs quite punctually...

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
