Yes, LB is window seat. The berth layout is not meant for U/L/M check.

Nayak Ji, thanks for the clarification. However, I do think that one of the primary reason for looking at the layout is to locate the seat positions in terms of L/M/U. :)

In that case, I would presume that you did not look at the different colour combinations which has been clearly explained with the relevant meanings for the same on the top of the image.
In an attempt not to spur any further debate, there are many ways to look at a particular thing. I would sincerely regret for the inconvenience caused and request you to kindly refer to any other diagrams which you might find suitable to help you understand.

Basu ji,
Indeed I have gone through the "color combinations" and do understand the meaning of the same as explained in the legends provided. My only concern was that as a layout / map when we see it from above the positioning of the UBs and LBs did not match the positioning of the window seat and the seats adjacent to the cabin doors.
I have not once in any way condemned the efforts you have made on the map neither I have shown any dissatisfaction over any discomfort that you may

think I have gone through.
Your reaction to my suggestion or the sudden flare-up is uncalled for.

Sir,
With all due respect I did not react otherwise to your earlier statements. There are various ways to look at a particular thing and it is not necessary that the point of view of everyone should match.
If I have kept berth number 2 below berth number 1, just in order to indicate that berth number 1 pertains to a window berth, someone else could have also assumed berth number 2 to be a lower berth and berth number 1 to be a upper berth.
Hence

it was a kind gesture on my part in requesting and probably others who would uneasy in looking at the above mentioned graphical images so that they can very well refer to diagrams of their own personal choice.

Admins please look at the time table. Since when Rajdhani takes 3 days 2 nights to reach Howrah? and also look at the timings as they need correction.. as per the time table the intermediary stations namely Kolkata Santragachhi, Ramratala and Tikiapara are crossed by Rajdhani at 0955, 0956 and 0959hrs respectively and reaches Howrah at 0955 hrs!!! please amend these..

Thanks for notifying. This error has now been fixed.
The original error was in the Living Atlas. Trains from Dhanbad to Howrah take the shorter Belur route bypassing Tikiapara and Santragachi. The Living Atlas previously had this route passing through Santragachi, adding an extra 5km to routes to Howrah. This also caused the other problem as the crossing times were greater than the arrival time.
Thanks again.

Admins,
I am posting once again! There are major flaws even in your Maps and Arrivals.. according to the website.. For example the Rajdhani that departed NDLS at 1700+ hrs on 6th August reaches on 08th August at 0955 hrs!! I wonder why it takes more that 24 hours between tikiapara and howrah!..

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
