Food quality on board degraded...... no tetra fruit drink,,, instead some low quality lemon juice in glass .... samosa replaced by petty which was awful bad and cheese sandwich by fruit bread .........no biscuits with tea.... even night food is not upto mark
Shtb were best that railway can offer and it is sad to see the degradation in food quality

There is a way to give AP Express its old prestige back.
1) NZM-VSKP Express should be de-linked from Dakshin Express and extra coaches should be added to Dakshin Express.
2) Change timings of Dakshin Express.
3) MOST IMPORTANT : Bellampalli, Mancherial, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Chandrapur and Mathura halts for AP Express should be removed and it should be sped up.

Why is that when we talk about Bhopal shtb speed of 150 people start comparing it with TGV or eurostar.....
where avg speed of superfast trains in our country is just around 60 km/hr ..........150 does matter We dont have any TGV or euro star all we have is BPL SHTB and is still the KING

To be very honest, I have been dreaming of high speed trains in India since childhood. On this site, we talk about BPL Shatabdi as a KING, which is something too much. Calling a train KING does not make it faster. This train started more than 2 decades ago. How much have we achieved in terms of speed even after ABB engine and LHB coaches? I do not talk compare with TGV, Thalys, or Eurostar. When we talk about speed, these trains are real fast and I liked their efficiency. But, if I am going from Jhansi to New Delhi, the Shatabdi takes almost 4:30 hours and there is not much improvement in the time taken to complete this journey.

get into a state of blissfulness on seeing BPL Shatabdi cruising at 150+ KMPH. But, sincerely, we need to have at least all Shatabdi routes capable of 200+ KMPH and Shatabdis running at average 150 KMPH.

We think 200 KMPH.. But wht about BPL Shatabdi touching 200 Mark?.. it too can do 200 markf if Track M.P.S will be 200 KMPH..so it will remain king.. :)

When halt is more d loco which has more acceleration is alloted to gain d speed. EG: Earlier 12608 / 07 - Lalbagh was alloted WAP4 when it had only 2 stops. i.e. BNC / KPD, it used to cover SBC-MAS within 5 Hrs. now it has about 11 stops. So to gain d lost time in event of increased stops, it has now been alloted WAP7.

i understood your point that since WAP7 has high acceleration so it can cover time in case of increased halts..........but many super crawlers of IR runs wid wap4 .... most of time when halts are more the time table is adjusted in that way
