Can we get the seats exchanges on speaking with the TTE while boarding?
Or is it advisable to cancel all the tickets and book new one in one group?

HA1: It is a composite coach consisting of AC First Class and AC 2 Tier. Half is 1A and other half is 2A.
A1: Purely an AC 2 Tier coach.

Request fellow passengers if they agree. Then approach TTE to change over. No other rule or regulation permit this other than a request and luck of getting gentleman copassanger.

I did a cancellation of a 2AC ticket (5 passengers) which was actually Waitlisted. But there was a deduction of INR 125/- on the ticket. Normally there is no cancellation charges on waitlisted ticket. Can you throw some light why this was deducted?

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . -@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
