Mewar just left MTJ @ 4:30 AM. Before SBC Raj crossed Vrindaban Road, GT reached MTJ. Surprisngly instead of allowing Goa SF to start GT was allowed to do. So, TN will overtake Goa SF in this section. GT should be started 1 Hr early from Chennai so that it reaches NDLS @ 05:00 AM. Also this makes Goa SF not to trail GT all the way till NZM and can reach atleast 15 Mins ahead of time at 06:00 AM. Arrival at NZM. I dont think so because TN dont gets deplayed mostly between MAS & ET and usually arrives BZA & BPQ ahead of time. Also with the current TT the route is very much clear between WL & BPQ. Why ET halt??? Any specific reason? Trains like KSK, AP etc skip ET. TN dont have ET halt earlier. IR gave ET halt later i hope in early 2000. ET halt should be removed to be speeded up. I gave ET halt since it is very difficult to remove a stop which is provided earlier. Actually TN got ET halt in 2008. Before that, ET halt was purely technical. Nowadays, crew change takes place at BPL instead of ET. That's why I think it should be removed. Very few people board TN from there. Also between ET and MAS there are plenty of trains (consider the trains coming from UP and Bihar too). Also, removing ET halt will make no difference to TN as it will still run overcrowded as usual :) Crew change at BPL and not ET. Thanks. TT also changed at itarsi becoz my Brother in law is TTE and many times he took this train from agra to itarsi. north indiand food is loaded during up journey in this train from itarsi. TN overtaken by freight train. /blog/post/759866  I have seen that. Nothing wrong in getting overtaken rarely and also the author of the video mentioned as loco failure. The probability of getting overtaken and overtaking other trains determines the priority of the train. Today 12621 overtook both Mewar & Goa SF at MTJ. Both are popular trains running in their routes. Overtook 12405 & 22181. 4 SF overtakes between BPL & NZM. Departed 55 Mins late at MAS and reached BPQ 5 mins early with high Avg Speed. Overtaking other trains by TN is normal day to day activity. Has more scheduled overtakes when compared to other SF and does more unscheduled overtakes when compared to other SF. add gondwana exp also in that list 12405 is Gondwana. Few trains overtaken before BPL. Yesterday Mumbai Raj was halted at MTJ and late running TN moved ahead. I have seen the same with Pune Duronto couple of times at MTJ. TN enjoys good priority on most of the days until and unless it is running with huge delay greater than 2 hours. Thanks.
