Recently I visited Gorumara Forest. New Mal - Changrabandha Line crosses at Lataguri. I ask if there is any Station at Lataguri ???

North India or North Bengal train can ply from Shalimar via Bhattanagar, Dankuni Route. It is shortest route than Kharagpur-Adra. Stoppage at Dankuni would solve of passengers who like to board at Howrah because Dankuni is 15 km from Howrah. Even Kolkata passenger can avail easily via Sealdah - Dankuni section. IR should think this substitute link so that Howrah stn can get relief from traffic

Dear brother, Satragachi is very near to Rabidrasadan Metro. It is 10 minutes in car via 2nd Hooghly bridge where Howrah is 30 miutes in car if no traffic jam arises. Shalimar is opposite to Khiddirpur or Gardenreach. I think SRC or Shalimar is convenient to South Kolkata. Probably North suburban is far. North suburban can go to SRC via NH6 Bombay Road Rajchandrapur, Kona, Salap by car minimum 45 minutes. Sealdah is the best convenient to all but it is congested, Howrah is far from East Kolkata. So Chitpur or SRC is the only terminal from where passengers can avail easily
It is the fault of State Govt. Why are they not availing Bus at Shalimar ????? Why have they stopped Ferry Ghat for 5 Years ?????? Shalimar is only 1 Km from 2nd Hooghly bridge. It will be a good transport if WB Govt wants.........

I want to tell about distance. Brother How do you com from Baruipur to Howrah ??? You have to come via Barabazar jam. Time & distance very much. So Sealdah is the oly optio. Rail should build more platfom & divert some Local train via Gurudas Banerjee Halt. Lay one more track between DDJ to KakuSealdah.
Shalimar to GardenReach Ferry was plying. Stopped because Shalimar Jetty was weak. Many passegers comes from Mecheda-Shalimar Local & cross Ganga by Ferry. Very easy
Rail have tedered doubling line Andul - Dankui ACCLvia Bhattangar including loop at CCL West & work have been started. I hope that after 2 years EMU Local Dankuni - Adul, Dankuni - Satragachi - Shalimar, Sealdah - Kharagpur would ply via Bhattanagar. The whole Kolkata wait for this short route.

If IR would be under private, I am 100% sure that Rail would get profit 4 times. Rail fare would not be hiked even lessen. Modern technology would apply. Timing would be maintained, IR officer who gets patronize by providing them Bungalow Peon would be stopped. Telecom sector is now totally private like Aircel, Vodafone, Tata. But call charge is very low because they have tremendous competition in market. Why Rail would not be got private ???? I think Rail fare would be Rs 3 minimum if it goes to private. Do you know after 7th pay commission Gr D salary would be minimum Rs 30000 where million of unemployed are in India. What will be for educated unemployed ??? IR officer have power to recruit Bungalow peon without any exam, IR officer gets Rs 10 Lakh from Bungalow peon as bribe as they are recruited directly by IR official, do...
