Very little chances of it stopping at Thane.. You may get off at Kalyan n catch a local till Thane.. From Thane you can catch Vashi local n get off at Ghansoli.

Don't take risk.... CSTM bound trains skip TNA pf 6 at around 50-60 kmph....no way that u can get down...
.
U may get down at Kalyan...take a train to thane and from thane another train to ghansoli.

GetDown at Kalyan & take CST bound Local & Alight at Thane & take Local to Ghansoli.
Or
Get Down at Dadar & Take TNA/KYN Bound local for Thane & take Local to Ghansoli.
As, First local from Thane (Thane to Panvel) to Ghansoli is at 5.15 a.m.
And
...
Hussain Sagar , normally Skipping Thane at around 4.15 so even if your train halt at thane you have to wait for 1 hour for Ghansoli train, so better you alight at Kalyan or Dadar & take local for Thane.

90% of Mumbai CST bound Mail/Express train don't have unscheduled halt at Thane. (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus bound trains do make halt of 30 seconds at Thane over pf no : 8)
Plus during morning hours when this train arrives local network is free from congestion so chances are probably nil so better alight at Kalyan.Jn, then take a local ride till Thane as locals travel will be pretty easy at that time due to less crowd & thereafter take any Panvel/Nerul/Vashi bound Trans-harbour local to reach Ghansoli.
Thanks!

Decents chances of CNF..But better keep a backup since we can't completely rely on Rajdhani intermediate station tickets. 12785 has RAC 4 on that day in 2AC.

May 10 2014 (16:00)   New SECoR Zone with Vijayawada, Guntur, Guntakal and Vizag Divisions soon

The new zone will have Guntakal, Guntur, Vijayawada and Vizag divisions
As June 2, the appointed day for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh nears, proposals for carving out a new South East Coast Railway Railway (SECoR) zone – the 18th in Indian Railways, are being firmed up.
Indian Railways had only nine zones till 2003 and later seven more – Hubli, Jaipur, Bilaspur, Bhubaneswar, Hajipur, Jabalpur and Allahabad – were added. More recently, the Metro Rail in Kolkata was made a zone and the new zone under active consideration now will be the

18th.
While the South Central Railway (SCR), that now has six divisions, will be left with big three viz. Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Nanded and probably the Gulbarga Division will also be added to South Central Railway, the new South East Coast Railway (SECoR) zone will have Guntakal, Guntur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam (that will be detached from East Coast Railway).
“In the creation of a new zone, it is but natural for the adjoining zones to be reorganised and while we send out proposals, it is for the Railway Board and Union Government to take a final call. In this case, the inclusion of Visakhapatnam into the new territory is necessary,” said a senior SCR official. SCR now has about 6,000 km length of track and the proposed new zone is expected to get approximately 3,500 km. Paperwork for allocation of the 93,000-odd existing employees (sanctioned strength is 1.03 lakh) in the SCR is already said to be done.
It will have Guntakal, Guntur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam divisions

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
