While Pune may have the necessary space to keep #20475 #20476 for a day, there could be other factors at play. For example, it could be more efficient to have the NR rake continue its journey up to Miraj and then have a different rake take over for the remaining part of the route.
Delays in the journey of #20475 from Bikaner to Pune could occur due to various unforeseen circumstances such as congestion on the tracks or technical issues. These delays could cascade down and affect the schedule of subsequent trains that utilize the same rake, such as #14723, #01424, and #20476.
In the past, we have seen similar re-scheduling of trains when they are transferred to different divisions or zones for operational reasons. For example, #22943 #22944 was shifted to DD (Daurai) and #22105 #22106 was moved to SUR (Solapur). These decisions are made to improve the overall efficiency and punctuality of train operations.
