जनरल श्रेणी में दिल्ली-हिसार तक यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के लिए अच्छी खबर है। इनकी सुविधा के लिए अत्यधिक भीड़ वाली गोरखधाम एक्सप्रेस के ठीक पहले एक जनसाधारण चलाने की तैयारी है। जनसाधारण गोरखधाम एक्सप्रेस के आधा घंटे पहले चलाने की योजना है। इसमें सभी कोच जनरल श्रेणी के रहेंगे।

ने रविवार को ‘हिन्दुस्तान’ से विशेष बातचीत के दौरान बताया कि पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे यात्री प्रधान जोन है। यात्रियों की संख्या ज्यादा है। यात्रियों को अधिक से अधिक सुविधा दी जा सके इसके लिए लगातार प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया कि गोरखधाम में होने वाली भीड़ को देखते हुए एक उसके कुछ समय पहले एक जनरल श्रेणी की दूसरी ट्रेन चलाने के लिए बोर्ड को जल्द ही प्रस्ताव भेजा जाएगा। श्री त्रिवेदी ने बताया कि प्लेटफार्म नम्बर-9 की तरफ जल्द ही यात्रियों के लिए वेटिंग हॉल बनाने के लिए काम शुरू कराया जाएगा।
गोरखधाम एक्सप्रेस की ही तरह होगी जनसाधारण
गोरखधाम एक्सप्रेस के ठीक पहले चलने वाली जनसाधारण ट्रेन की खासियत होगी कि यह ट्रेन भी उसी रफ्तार और उन्हीं स्टेशनों पर रुकते जाएगी जहां-जहां गोरखधाम रुकती है। इसके जनरल श्रेणी का किराया भी गोरखधाम की ही तरह होगा।

Unlike Gorakhdham route, Gitanjali route have long distance unreserved paxs much lesser in proportion. A SF Train preceding Gitanjali shall get much better patronage than Jansadhaaran. Even Antyoday on CSTM-TATA route is not a big success.

Antyoday halt pattern is responsible for low patronage. If halts are given to Champa, Rajnandgaon, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Manmad, Nashik Raod etc. then it will be a very successful train.

it is very common scene at BD. goods trains heading towards Wardha occupies PF2 many times and then passenger trains (incl. mail/exp) have to wait for PF clearance as only one PF is then left for trains coming from both ends. PF 3 & 4 cant hold longer trains.
BD needs one more PF and it can be developed at the old entrance side which was previously used as godaown (Maal Dhakka).

not able to understand what you want to say.
there is no problem to have a loco change at NGP. but if your train goes via BD - AK - WHM then it has to undergo reversal at AK.

13425/6 MLDT-ST-MLDT exp could be diverted through Asansol - Adra - Purulia - Kotshila - Muri and then via regular route.
