Last Minute plan made us to take a trip to pass the Sunday. Considering In future for me Have a big task which makes me to sit in office on Sunday. AS One guy was at URS other two guys managed to meet at PF 1 where our train was about place. Being Sunday Crowd was more. As train Was placed, People/travelers without thinking started fighting to enter the Coach, Result few of them couldn't managed to get the seat in those Coaches, Mean while We were observing How many of the passengers will look into SLR. As we got ticket We moved towards the SLR which was next to LOCO. Hardly 5-10 people were there and easily we got 2 window seats to capture and Njoy the route. To our Surprise the Loco link was of RATLAM WDM3A 16161. Unfortunately It had entered SBC and SBC officer's are not allowing that loco to go back to his/her home Shed, its used for SWARNA PASSENGER last day, Sunday SALEM PASSENGER and today(Monday) its resting at KJM Shed. Train Departed Ontime from SBC PF 1 and had stop at all station. The way in climbed the BYPL RAMP was too good to see from a EMERGENCY WINDOW. As it was Passenger train and only one train from SBC towards SALEM occupancy was more added with ticketless travelers. Looking at them I felt when IR is shouting as WE ARE UNDER LOSS, Why cant they make their officer to check the trains properly So that ticketless travelers can be turned towards VALID TICKET holders and a small percentage of revenue would have increased.. Train was ontime to all station where it was made to Wait from SA-YPR pass at HOSUR for more than 15mins. After crossing the route which It took was too good as it has N number of Hair pin curves including U turns.. Any of the photographer would have clicked good SNAPS here... Reached DHARMAPURI and halted for 5min for unknow reasons. After DHARMAPURI the route was passing between Rocks which was too good to enjoy. There are few stops for this train where there is no Board, No Station Signs and Not even Single IR fellow to check, In these stations many of the passengers deboarded and the train was 60% Empty when it reached THOPPUR which was 15min Early. At thoppur CBE-LTT Passed us towards SBC. Loco Pilot was out for loco for having TENDER COCONUT and other stuffs, When we approached near Loco he said we are early and Ran to have some more stuffs. Its seems many RAJ rakes around SBC. May be for some AC exp or Duranto. If that's used for YPR-SC AC special then ADI Duranto rake may allot to SC-VSKP Duranto.
Ok,tell me what trains move towards KJM from YNK by passing SBC/YPR. I guess, mas SNSI is one such. Any other trains? Leave about zonal classification.
Dear All.... I would like to share my first RF with adimn Mr Vamsi @ Maulaly RS. Reached MLY at 15.25pm. Station was Empty with Station manager siittng out side. Suprised to see the Arrival List containing only 6 train...and most imp train is Krishna Express. Finally Me and Vamsi Setteled under tree on PF 1 with some snacks and Water bottel. Raise your hand and the train will stop for you!! I called Amar(DADAgiri at WANKHADE Here) in March last week for a casual talk and soon it shifted into a short trip plan. We had made plans to make a short trip to Kotipalli on rail car. The date was fixed on April 7Th as it was a weekend and i can get a bonus day as holiday. Krishna(CIRCAR Express) joined us later and the day had arrived. My friend dropped me in Bhanugudi junction at 8.30am. After a 10min walk, i reached Kakinada town station. Announcements were made for the arrival of Seshadri to PF2, 7210 arrived at 8.55am to PF2 and Krishna alighted from Seshadri. the other end of the rail car. I purchased a ticket from the booking clerk and the ticket costs 7rs each (Bus ticket is 22rs). Train negotiated a curve and crossed the bridge, we shifted to the seat behind LP's cabin,we could see the line clearly from here. After 5min run, we could see 3 ladies standing beside the track by raising their hand (the train halted at that place and there was no sign of station).Soon 3 people were boarded into the train and the rail car started again. After 1min the train stopped at Level crossing, Attendant on-board alighted here and closed the gate, the train crossed the gate and stopped again, he opened the gate and boarded the train. This is the regular picture in this section, Although there were manned LC's in this section there was no Man to operate Level crossings!! Soon we arrived Kovvada, the rail car was filled here. we started from kovvada after a 25sec halt and we were at MPS (50kmph). LP Decelerated, two people (must be friends) walking on the track without listening to honking sound. After continuous honking they sensed it and cleared the track. Rail car started gaining speed and crossed Velangi,Aratlakatta,Vakada,Karapa after halting. The station buildings were looking like ghost stations.!!! We reached Ramachandrapuram at 10.50am (20m behind schedule). Here the LP exchanged the token and the station looking good and well maintained. We started again after a 5min halt and reached Draksharama in 5min, here all the passengers alighted (Except I,Amar,Krishna and other guy).After crossing kunduru we went to Booking clerk to ask about the position of line. "The cost of diesel (used) for to and fro journey is 1600rs, it will end-up at 4000rs with all allowances to staff on-board. So, rail bus is running with the loss of 2500rs/1 Day". This information followed a sup[rise to us- LP and Guard will come to Kakinada on Gowtami (2738) everyday to operate this train and go back to Rajamundry on Circar (7644). After gangavaram we settled back in our places. In fact, we were at wrong time to this place (section), the best time to visit this place is September to January to enjoy(see) the beauty of Paddy fields and Godavari district.The rail bus halted at a LC again, here Kotipalli SS-Chavali krishna boarded into the train and we started again. At 12pm we reached KPLH (30min behind schedule). The station halts 1km short of Mighty Godavari river (In fact this is the tail of Godavari river).We started seaching for water and failed..OMG!! there is no drinking water in this station...Later, we managed to get some water from Station Manager and settled in our seats. Train started at 12.10pm with 4 passengers on-board and 7 Railway staff.In our return journey we discussed about IR. I alighted at Atchutapuram LC (Near to my home), Krishna and Amar moved on train to CCT. Thus ended the short trip!! Thanks for your Patience Reading. Regards, Bharat ML
