Cheating Death.. Stupid Biker Saved by a Whisker from Speeding Poorva Express.!!
Scenes at the level crossing in India are surely deadly... the last minute rush always end up in some or the other mishap. Life is really cheap in India and there are countless of incidents which showcase how foolish the people become at the level crossing despite all the awareness campaigns done by the Ministry of Railways.

train tracks and leaves his cycle at the last moment in front of the speeding Mahakaushal Express and it was the alertness of the loco pilots which saved thousands of lives that evening when the LP applied the emergency brakes in the nick of time just as the crushed cycle gets stuck under the wheels of the Mahakaushal Express..!! I happened to witness another near death experience at the level crossing of Ajaibpur station. When i started my railfanning in 2012 at Ajaibpur the level crossing then used to be least congested one with very little traffic to offer... fast forward to 2018 and you can now see a huge rush at the level crossing. The untimely closure of the level crossing also results in many slowdowns at the hand of Rajdhani express as they are given late clearance. The rush is so huge that despite the closure of the the level crossing gates the bikers still penetrate through the sidings and try to cross the tracks despite the shouts from the gateman. Here also, just as the time for Poorva Express to roar past the Ajaibpur station drew near. I happened to see a swarm of motorcyclists trying their antics to reach the other end of the level crossing. Now as the congestion at the other end became huge two bikers happened to get stuck at the level crossing and to our horror the HWH WAP-7 led Poorva Express was now at the station outer... luckily the first one got to the safe spot but the other one, who was lost in his own world, still happened to be near the tracks proximity where the Poorva Express was going to hustle past at 130 km/hr speed. It was then me along with all the persons at the level crossing started to shout at him even the gateman was abusing from the other end.. we all did this just to ensure he reaches a safe zone but that guy seemed unfazed by our concerns.. Just as the Poorva Express entered the station premises that idiot guy ,thanks to other biker who told him about the approaching death, at the last minute pulled his bike to a safe spot and was saved by a whisker from the speeding Poorva Express which rattled past the level crossing at full 130 kmph speed. Even the Locopilots tried to warn him by blowing the horns from a far distance just to warn him about the incoming death. We were all glad that an accident was averted that evening because had he been a foot back he surely would have ended up with a date with Yamraaj. After the Poorva Express darted past us at full speed .. me along with the gateman and other people at the level crossing scolded him and gave our piece of mind. He later on apologized to all of us and was saying that with he had wearing his earplugs which had disconnected him from the world and he was not able to listen to the horn of the train and was not able hear our screams.
So guys there is a lesson to be learnt here.. don't risk your lives just to save few seconds. There is a saying "Better Late then Never" so my fellow viewers please stay safe, be patient and always follow the rules and regulations . Remember there is someone who is waiting for you at home.

given to me by the NCR division while i was on a night long RF at Hathras Jn. The RF session began on a poor note thanks to awful controlling,first due to late looping of the Delhi-Tundla MEMU,the NCR's own prestige Kanpur Shatabdi was made to halt at the station outer only to crawl through the station once the signal was given.Things became worse when the same shit was repeated with the Delhi-Hathras Killad MEMU,the HRF bound MEMU arrived at Hathras Jn. on time,but was made to halt at the outer for a long time thus causing the Sealdah Duronto to crawl once again just like the case with Kanpur Shatabdi,the final nail in the coffin was delivered when the NCR's most prestigious train.ie. Allahabad Duronto was made to halt and later crawl at the station as the controller gave priority to Sangam Express ahead of this prestigious train since Aligarh. It was then my patience broke and i was all looking up for a train to go back to home.As all trains which halted at HRS bound to Delhi were jam packed ,i decided to continue my expedition with a heavy heart.But fate yielded it's reward later on..as i got to witness some of the rarest and coolest overtakes on this route.
In a span of one hour i got to see a different side of the NCR controller,which began with the overtake of the ECR's prestigious Bihar Sampark Kranti at the hands of Purushottam Express.
Just as the GZB WAP-7 led 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti entered it's loop, i was able to see a beam of light approaching from the East end..I was certain that it was the 12801 Purushottam Express,but i was not certain about the speed at which it was approaching.I was reluctant to shoot the video as i thought the Purushottam would crawl,but i had to change my mind quickly after seeing the approach of the train..The TKD WAP-7 led Purushottam Express was approaching like a raging hurricane and i in no time,started recording this rare overtake..The 22 coacher 12801 Purushottam left no stone unturned and razed past the sidelined BSK at full throttle,i was amazed to see that even with a close gap the Purushottam express belted past the station as if the BSK was looped since a long time. The second surprise came at the stroke of dawn,when the NCR controllers decided to surprise me one more time with another scintillating overtake,this time the bait was to my surprise another ECR's pride ie. 12553 Vaishali Express which made way for the highness ie. ECR King..12309 Patna Rajdhani. The Patna Rajdhani was having a hell of run and was razing away the sidelined trains and stations like a boss.All boiled down to the penultimate moment,when the GZB WAP-7#30233 led 12309 Patna rajdhani finally showcased it's brute nature.The 21 coach PNBE Rajdhani blazed past like a trace of bullet leaving the station in shackles.What a moment it was when one of the prestigious trains of ECR bows to mighty King of ECR..!! As i thinking that the controllers would allow the Vaishali Exp to proceed,in came another surprise..the starters changed colors and it was time for another humiliation..The 12273 Howrah Duronto leading it's way with HWH WAP-4 in charge,showed the way the looped Vaishali Exp that it was in a mood of serious aggression.After getting humiliated by Patna rajdhani,the LP's of 12273 Howrah Duronto were all charged up.Just as the first light of the day broke,in came the thunder from the east.Approaching like a ball of fire,the HWH WAP-4 led 12273 Howrah Duronto bolted past the station at a great speed and in the process delivered a typical sucker punch to the sidelined Vaishali Express whose misery was finally broken after this overtake..!!
It was really a RF session full of ups and downs and full of surprises..that is NCR for you..whenever you're here..you are in for a surprise :D
